Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s resident nice guy Josh White has been accused of being a “fame-hungry” gaslighter and our trust in men is now almost non-existent.
As revealed in episode 279 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 40-year-old’s portrayal on MAFS was a far cry from who he is in real life.
“Everything is an act – he is fame-hungry, arrogant, and chauvinistic,” a source close to the former groom spilled.
Josh White didn’t tell his wife that he was going on Married at First Sight
And that’s not all! The father-of-two allegedly didn’t tell his wife that he was going on MAFS.
“He also never told his estranged wife he was going on the show and she found out from a leaked photo online from his MAFS wedding.
“That’s why he had to have it written in his contract that he could go home at any time during the experiment and why he was away for days at a time. Because he didn’t want his wife to find out.” O.M.G. We’ve just burnt ourselves from all of the tea that’s been SPILLED all over our laps.
Another source came forward to confirm that Josh isn’t the man we all thought he was.
“Josh is a gaslighting piece of shit IRL. The whole soft and sensitive thing was all an act.
“He’s not exactly father of the year either. He’s been going to extreme lengths to prevent people from outing his bullshit.
“The edit did not show the reality,” they added. Now it makes sense why Josh has been hanging out with the gaslighting king Harrison Boon. They’re cut from the same cloth!
MAFS’ Melissa Sheppard accuses Josh of FAKE crying for the cameras
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard claims that Josh isn’t the nice guy he was portrayed on MAFS.
His on-screen wife Melissa Sheppard previously accused him of crying for the cameras and creating a false “narrative” at the second Commitment Ceremony.
During an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on February 20, the 41-year-old claimed that Josh acted completely “different” when the cameras weren’t rolling.
“Josh is a very different person in front of me. He would go do these [interviews-to-camera] and break down,” she said, adding that he and the MAFS producers pushed a certain “narrative” about the relationship.
“I felt like I was sleeping with a secret assassin. He was just running off [to the producers].
“He would be so kind to my face and then behind closed doors [would] break down, and I had no idea… I was 100 per cent blindsided,” the hairdresser added.
Melissa wasn’t the only MAFS bride to call Josh fake.
As revealed in episode 256 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Lyndall Grace also reportedly called Josh a “dog”, telling cast members she “doesn’t like him anymore.”
“She’s been saying that he’s not a nice person, he can’t be trusted and he’s not what everyone sees,” one cast mate dished. “She wants nothing to do with him.”
The insider went on to explain that Lyndall thinks Josh is “full of BS.” and his “good person” persona is all “an act.”
We’re taking ‘learn to trust nice guys’ off our to-do lists for the foreseeable future…
