Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Caitlin McConville has revealed what Melinda Willis is like as a boss, after the beauty CEO hired her when the show wrapped.
It’s a known fact that MAFS participants essentially earn jacksh*t while filming the show, with sources revealing Caitlin was left broke after leaving the marriage experiment.
Having been snapped up by Melinda to work at her Brisbane beauty parlour, Caitlin has since dished what it’s like working with her co-star on the daily.
Chatting to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the 27-year-old said her fellow bride is “amazing to work with”.
“I was working a different job and I was saying how I needed another job, something I can enjoy a little bit more and something a bit more financially stable,” she explained.
“And Melinda was like, ‘Babe, get your qualifications and come work for me!’ and I was like, ‘I already have them!’. So we just thought why not? We’re both Brisbane girls and we both have the same qualifications in this industry.

Caitlin added that Melinda is “so understanding” and “really patient”.
“She’s a great boss and a great friend,” she said. “It’s a pleasure to work with her.”
The confession comes after Caitlin was rumoured to return to MAFS in 2024 after her trainwreck marriage to Shannon Adams.

According to the same publication, widespread support for Caitlin has motivated producers to ask her to return for in 2024.
“Caitlin was ready to give everything to the experiment but was matched with a dud who was still in love with his ex,” an insider said.
“The powers behind the show feel she was done dirty, viewers think she was done dirty, and bringing her back for a second chance isn’t out of the question if she’s still single when filming starts in August.”
Caitlin even confirmed she was interested in returning.
“Look, if I was single and I hadn’t found somebody yet, I would definitely be open to coming back. But I’m hoping to have found somebody by then,” Caitlin told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
If she did return, Caitlin would hopefully follow a similar trajectory to Married at First Sight alum, Lizzie Sobinoff, who appeared on TWO seasons of the show.
