The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s Jed McIntosh reportedly copped such a huge paycheck that it outdid Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli‘s wages put together.
The revamped dating series was a bit a lot of a flop. However, it seems Network 10 was keen to pay big money for star power (if you can even call it that) to get it over the line.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Jed pocketed a whopping $415,000 for his appearance on The Bachelors and WTAF.
This would make Jed the second-highest-paid Bachie, behind Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins. The rugby player reportedly earned “half a mill”, according to Brooke Blurton.
Insiders dished that Jed was paid the salary “in instalments based on certain production milestones”.
“[The] Warner Bros. team were extremely pushy for Jed,” they added. “They had a lot of pressure to use him to gain a new audience and put a lot of emphasis on ‘this is the make or break season’.”
It’s also believed that Thomas (who applied for the show) earned a shy $50,000, while scouted star Felix was allegedly paid $90,000 with a $5,000 bonus.
However, the series’ resident horny hound forfeited the bonus because he refused to do any press during or after the show’s run.
A Network 10 spokesperson refused to discuss the rumours.
They told the publication: “As this is a confidential matter, Network 10 won’t be making any comment about talent salaries.”
News of Jed’s yuge income comes after he confirmed he and final pick Alesia Delaney were no longer together.

After a little fan confusion over whether Jed and Alesia had stayed together after his awkward proposal, the drummer confirmed on Valentine’s Day that they were dunzo.
During an Instagram Q&A, the 26-year-old explained that she was still the “number one woman” in his life, despite their split.
“Alesia and I are, even though we’re not currently in a relationship, we are still continuing to grow together,” Jed said.
He continued: “I think it’s something so foreign to each of us and anyone through the ins and outs of meeting on the show and having a gap between it airing and not being able to see each other.
“We’re sort of learning as we go. But no matter what the title is, she is still the number one woman in my life and I consider myself the luckiest man on earth.”
Welp, that’s three out of three of The Bachelors 2023 couples to call it quits. And we can’t say we’re surprised one bit!
