The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s Jed McIntosh may have given Alesia Delaney an engagement-turned-promise ring in the finale, but are they still together IRL?
Despite the 28-year-old’s apparent desire not to be proposed to, Jed kinda went “f*ck it” and took a knee during the January 29 episode anyway.
After establishing that marriage wasn’t on the cards quite yet, Jed and Alesia still finished the show ready to give their romance a go.
Chatting to 10Play following filming, the drummer said he and Alesia are “in a really good place”.
“We’re taking it day by day and are excited to actually just have a coffee with each other and live a normal life after this.”

Meanwhile, Alesia said their relationship was mainly maintained “by phone and text”. Yikes.
“To not actually have gotten out to have a coffee with someone is so odd in a dating sense,” Alesia said. “We haven’t seen each other for this long…
“It’s not something that we’re not coming out and saying yeah, we’re together. We just want to be together in a real setting and see where it goes from there and if it does flourish into something more.”
Now, without the pressures of The Bachelors, the duo said their romance blossomed in new, unexpected ways.
“Now it’s going to be such a relief of that pressure for us where it’s starting fresh in that sense of physically being able to go out, but I personally feel like [since] coming off the show we know so much more about each other,” Jed said.
Meanwhile, Alesia said, “it was like the relationship hit a completely new level straight after that and that’s the way it has continued since then”.
However, we’re sceptical that the relationship isn’t all it’s made out to be, considering Alesia confessed to hooking up with people who AREN’T Jed on live radio.
Alesia Delaney confesses she has “kissed a few people” since filming finished
In an interview on 2DayFM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin on January 30, Alesia said this was only the second time she and Jed had seen each other since filming.
While she admitted she isn’t “seeing anyone else” as she and Jed are now starting their romance “from scratch” again, Alesia said she’s “kissed a few people” in recent months.
“But [Jed’s] known straight up,” she added.
The drummer also wasn’t fazed by the admission.
“That’s okay, given the context, I think we’ve done quite well if that’s all it is, to be honest.”
However, fans aren’t holding their breath for a long-term relo, particularly after Jed was eyed getting schmoozy just weeks after the filming ended.

In August 2022, Jed reportedly spilled his guts about The Bachelors to partygoers in Sydney.
At the time, a source said the musician was “approaching girls” during a night out.
“He seemed very single,” one onlooker dished to Yahoo! Lifestyle. “It was really weird he was there on his own.”
When asked about his time on the show, Jed reportedly said it was “a good experience” but “couldn’t confirm” whether he’s a taken man.
The insider added that Jed told their group that he was “waiting for his mates”, however, “no one came”.
“We left at around 3 am and he was still there on his own. It’s as if he just went out to meet people.”
In episode 248 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an insider dished on where the couple stands today.
“Jed and his gal were together for six months post-show, but she’s from Sydney and he’s from Melbs so they broke up,” they said.
