The Block 2022‘s Sharon Johal believes she has a long career ahead with Channel 9 thanks to the “value” she added to its hit renovation series.
The ex-Neighbours actress and her husband, Ankur Dogra, were at the forefront of drama during the show’s 18th season. ICYMI: the duo was central to THAT wine cheating scandal and subsequent beef with their tradies.
Now, the 34-year-old TV “villain” has told the Herald Sun she could become a network regular thanks to her The Block experience.
“They can see the value I bought [sic] to the show and the ratings,” she said. “People were interested in our journey.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if something with Channel 9 comes out of this.”
Sharon revealed that “so many brands” have contacted her since The Block wrapped up. Mainly because she’s “in line with them in authenticity”.
While she admitted that Ankur “wouldn’t be on another reality show”, they “took some risks and that reliability is something that will continue on with this”.
News of Sharon and Ankur’s potential career comes after several of their co-stars were also tipped to reappear in the new year.

Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane were rumoured to appear in an All-Stars season in 2023 after making just $20,000 in profit on auction day.
However, one condition must be met to see them return to the show.
According to the young parents, there’d have to be a guarantee of earning big bucks after they were forced to sell their car to recoup their finances after the show.
“If we wanted to do an All-Stars, we’d be going back purely to try and make money,” Sarah-Jane told Now to Love.
Tom agreed, adding: “It’s not as simple as just saying ‘yes’ and going on the show. We put our lives on hold for almost nine months.
“It is a huge commitment for us and all our families as well, who help look after [one-year-old daughter] Cleo.”
