PR maven Roxy Jacenko has been rumoured to have a new starring role in the Real Housewives of Sydney, after stepping down as director of her Sweaty Betty.
ICYMI – The SAS Australia alum announced on November 3 that she would no longer be helming her PR empire, which she founded 18 years ago.
While Roxy hasn’t dished (yet) on what’s to come, fans have speculated that Roxy could be the new face of the upcoming reboot of RHOS.
The 42-year-old has been on the producers’ minds since they were casting RHOS season one in 2017 (which was scrapped because the fights were “too extreme”).
But the mother-of-two had reportedly said “no” to the opportunity because Real Housewives seemed “too mean”.
Now, an insider source has told Daily Mail Australia that the new producers are hoping to ditch the OTT, polarising personalities as they try to revive the flopped series.
“They’re really looking for housewives who have genuine connections or pre-existing beef with one another,” the source claimed.
What Connections Does Roxy Jacenko Have to the Current Real Housewives of Sydney Cast?
There are connections between Roxy and the RHOS gang but NGL, it’s a bit of a stretch.
Roxy reportedly had a fling with Nicole O’Neil’s brother Nabil Gazal when her husband Oliver Curtis was in prison after he was found to be guilty of insider trading.
Roxy was also spotted at the same event as Nicole, Krissy Marsh, Matty Samaei and Victoria Rees back in March. But to be fair, the inner circle of Sydney’s elite is kinda small and there are often a lot of crossovers at industry events.
Adding fuel to the fire, the Wikipedia page for Real Housewives of Sydney “leaked” that Roxy and Married at First Sight Australia alum Martha Kalifatidis would appear in “season two”.

Roxy’s has laughed off circulating rumours that she’ll try her hand at the on-screen drama come 202. But she did admit that it would make for “good TV”.
