I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Jack Vidgen revealed several influencers dined and dashed after a special invite-only Hayu event in Sydney with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.
On his podcast Hey Doll!, Jack revealed several influencers went for drinks at the Kimpton Margot hotel bar after the event but ditched before they had to pay the hefty bar tab.
“There was a couple of other people who racked up probably about a $360 or $380 cocktail tab with us and legged it,” Jack said.
“It was disappointing because I actually had a good conversation with this person as well. I thought we connected a little bit, more than I thought we would.”
After So Dramatic! reached out to the reality star, he told us: “I don’t really want to single them out,” before also revealing he could have easily gotten the bar to invoice Hayu, so he didn’t have to cop the $380 bill.
Which Reality Stars Definitely DIDN’T Dine and Dash?
Jack was the bigger person in the dine and dash situation, but we’re not so noble. The Hayu event had around 15 people attending, so OFC we did some sleuthing.
Jack specifically named The Amazing Race Australia winners Tim and Rod Sattler-Jones, so it can’t have been them. But who else was at the event?
Married at First Sight Australia’s Jules Robinson confirmed to So Dramatic! that she had to run to the airport after the event, so she wasn’t able to go for drinks.
“I was obviously there but I reached out to Jack yesterday and I messaged him and I was like: ‘Is this real?’ And he was like ‘yes’ and I was like ‘omg, I’ll buy you a drink next time’,” she said.
“I couldn’t even tell you who went with him, but I know a few people said ‘oh let’s go for a drink downstairs’ and I went home, I had to go to the airport actually and pick up a girlfriend. Don’t know anything about it other than meeting her [Kyle] was amazing.”
Speaking exclusively to So Dramatic!, stylist Donny Galella also confirmed that “a few people went for drinks after the main event”.
“I didn’t though, I’m too boring,” Donny said. LMAO, mood.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under podcast host Justin Hill was also at the event, exclusively telling So Dramatic! that he thought the “bizarre” drama was “a scream”. Honestly, same.
“I sadly dashed off as soon as it ended, so I have no idea,” Justin said.
Australia’s Next Top Model‘s Simone Holtznagel also attended the event, but told So Dramatic! that she hadn’t heard anything about the drama.
“I haven’t heard about that but it doesn’t surprise me. That’s shitty,” she said.
Stylist Deni Todorovič was hosting the event, so it seems unlikely they would be the culprit.
Attendee David Subritzky previously appeared in past seasons of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! so he’d have plenty to talk about with fellow alum Jack.
Speaking exclusively to So Dramatic!, David said: “I don’t really think Jack wants their names [to be] named… I’m here for the drama.”
Of course, Kyle and her husband Mauricio Umansky were also at the event, but we have a sneaking suspicion they have several million reasons not to dine and dash.
Who Could Have Dined and Dashed, Leaving Jack Vidgen With the $380 Bar Tab?
Jack wasn’t the only person in the group who was left with the bill, so we can’t confirm who left and who stayed.
Married at First Sight Australia’s Selina Chhaur, Byron Baes’ Jade Kevin Foster and The Bachelor Australia‘s Sophie Tieman were also at the event, along with influencers Johnny Magz and Sammy Robinson.
So Dramatic! has contacted the 14 confirmed attendees to see if they have any more deets. Only five haven’t responded.
However, Jack said he didn’t single them out because he didn’t want them to receive “nasty messages”. So, if everyone actually involved is all good with the outcome, let’s leave the cheapskates be!
