The Real Housewives of Sydney is reportedly returning with a brand new season, and we’re equally terrified and excited.

With whispers about a Gold Coast edition also up in the air, it appears 2023 could be the year to catch up with all the goss from Australia’s most affluent (and vicious) housewives.

RHOS was cancelled back in 2017 due to executives thinking that the fights were “too extreme”, which is a big yikes when you think about some of the other Real Housewives clashes over the years…

However, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, the canned series could be set for a comeback!

Apparently, a Sydney-based revamp of the Real Housewives franchise is rumoured to be in the works, and producers are currently amid a “top-secret” casting for new housewives.

What Do We Know So Far About the Return of The Real Housewives of Sydney?

The brand new housewives probs won’t be quite as “nasty” (and entertaining) as our OG Real Housewives of Sydney faves.

In 2017, the Hit Network reported that Foxtel television executive director Brian Walsh canned the RHOS because the cast “were nasty for nasty’s sake and have no redeeming features”. Tell us how you really feel, mate!

Take the tea with a grain of salt because the Sydney Morning Herald allegedly spotted “well-groomed ladies” who were “huddled in deep conversation” with TV casting agents in Double Bay in early September.
