After claiming she was fired from (then backtracking to restate that she actually “quit”) her job following her controversial stint on Married at First Sight Australia 2022, it seems Olivia Frazer has decided on a career change.
As reported in episode 177 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one super-spy noticed the former driving instructor applying for a new position at beauty giant Mecca.
Following in the footsteps of her beauty-guru rival Domenica Calarco, perhaps? Just kidding…
One member of the Drama Army caught the 27-year-old during an interview for a casual role with the makeup company.
“She’s in a group call on Zoom with heaps of other applicants and Mecca management for a group job interview,” the source spilled.
They even sent over a cheeky screenshot of the former bride on the call.
A second source also came through with even more intel: “Oliva’s applying for a casual position at Mecca now…
“Olivia, pls stay away from Mecca, it’s my happy place and I couldn’t handle seeing her there.” LOL.
This sighting comes after Olivia was reportedly kicked out of her university where she was studying for a teaching degree.
Was Olivia Fired From Her Old Job?
Olivia’s involvement in a number of MAFS scandals this year has not only affected her experience in the experiment but her everyday life, too.
On March 29, Olivia told the HIT Network‘s Hughesy, Ed and Erin that she lost her job “as a direct result” of Married at First Sight. It was in that same interview that the TV bride claimed she was “more hated than Vladimir Putin”.
Her MAFS bestie and co-villain Tamara Djordjevic has reportedly also been fired due to fallout following the show.
However, she later backtracked on those claims.
Only a week later she revealed that she didn’t “lose her job”, maintaining that she actually chose to resign from her position.
“I needed to resign from my job,” she told the HIT Network’s Nick, Jess and Ducko on Tuesday. “Because, one, I’m so depressed I can barely get out of bed so how am I supposed to work? And, two, I can’t get into it but it wasn’t going to work for my place of employment.”
So, could a new career path be in the works for the star?
