Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Olivia Frazer has revealed that she didn’t “lose” her job as she originally claimed in recent media interviews.

The 27-year-old’s involvement in a number of MAFS scandals this year has not only affected her experience in the experiment but her everyday life, too.

On March 29, Olivia told the HIT Network‘s Hughesy, Ed and Erin that she lost her job “as a direct result” of Married at First Sight. It was in that same interview that the TV bride claimed she was “more hated than Vladimir Putin”.

However, Olivia has now revealed that she didn’t “lose her job”, confessing that she chose to resign from her position.

“I needed to resign from my job,” she told the HIT Network’s Nick, Jess and Ducko on Tuesday. “Because, one, I’m so depressed I can barely get out of bed so how am I supposed to work? And, two, I can’t get into it but it wasn’t going to work for my place of employment.”

According to the controversial star, her former employer “did everything they could” to stop Olivia from leaving.

“They tried to keep me… They love me,” she said. “I’m going to get a fantastic letter of recommendation, but it was just an impossible situation with how much hate I was getting from the public.”

While it isn’t clear what job she was referring to, it is understood that Olivia held positions as both a student teacher and a driving instructor.

Olivia Has Signed On With a Celebrity Agent

News of Olivia resigning from her job comes as reports emerge stating she and MAFS husband Jackson Lonie have signed on with a celebrity talent agent.

According to the Daily Telegraph, celebrity agent Max Markson has agreed to represent the pair as they launch their post-MAFS career.

Max is notoriously well-known within the entertainment industry and represents a host of influencers and former reality stars. These names include former MAFS Tracey Jewel and Bryce Ruthven and The Biggest Loser‘s Ajay Rochester,

Sure, Olivia may ring in a few top-end endorsements post-show. But somehow we think a Shona Joy collab is off the table after she admitted to cutting up one of the designer’s dresses during a row with an ex-pal.
