Married at First Sight Australia‘s most controversial bride Olivia Frazer has claimed that she’s “more hated” than Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, following her appearance on the hit show.

The 28-year-old has been at the centre of some of the series’ most dividing scandals, including one that has seen her brought to task over sharing another bride’s racy OnlyFans content among the cast.

Married at First Sight‘s ninth season hasn’t been without Olivia’s controversial takes, and now, she’s likened herself to the man behind the devastating war on Ukraine.

“More people have signed a petition to have me arrested… than to end the war in Ukraine,” she told the HIT Network‘s Hughesy, Ed and Erin on Tuesday. “In Australia, I feel like I’m more hated than Vladimir Putin.”

In early March, a Change.org petition called on the e-Safety Commissioner to reprimand Olivia over MAFS‘ nude photo scandal, stating that she had committed image-based abuse. While the call to action gained support en masse, the petition was closed after it received just under 123,000 signatures.

As for petitions in support of ending the war in Ukraine, over 2.7 million people had signed appeals on Change.org under the hashtag #StandWithUkraine. At the time of publication, the single petition with the highest number of signatures had garnered close to 1.3 million supporters.

Married at First Sight‘s Olivia Frazer Reveals She Lost Her Job As a Result of the Show

Breakfast radio host Erin Moran also questioned Married at First Sight‘s Olivia as to whether she thinks her involvement in the show would “impact [her] ability” to get a job moving forward.

Olivia, who was previously a teaching student, then confessed the series has already had a negative effect on job prospects.

“Yeah, look. I’ve already lost my job as a direct result of this show,” she admitted, though she didn’t elaborate further.

However, while employers may see the TV villain in a negative light, the same can’t be said for Jackson Lonie.

Olivia’s TV husband told the radio hosts that his wife’s portrayal on the show has been “so hard to watch”.

“If that was the person who [Olivia really] was then we wouldn’t be together,” he said. “Liv is actually such a beautiful person and she is so nice and she’s so caring.

“She’d do anything for anyone… and she’s proved that multiple times to my friends and family… Yeah, she’s just an amazing soul.”
