Married at First Sight Australia 2025 has already faced a mass walkout, with three couples quitting the show and one groom fleeing before the first Dinner Party. And it sounds like the perfect train wreck!

Whilst filming has only just begun, industry insiders have told Daily Mail that the upcoming season of the marriage experiment is set to be the most dramatic yet.

In fact, things have heated up so much that groom Eliot Donovan reportedly quit the experiment during his honeymoon, leaving his wife, Lauren Hall, to attend the first Dinner Party alone.

“Eliot was anything but impressed when he met Lauren. From that moment, it was downhill,” one source told the outlet.

“By the next morning, Eliot wanted out—no second thoughts, no hesitation. Everyone was shocked, asking, ‘WTF is going on?'” Yikes.

Not only that, but Eliot was “nothing short of disrespectful” to both his wife and the crew. And good riddance!

THREE couples LEAVE Married at First Sight 2025 during the first Commitment Ceremony

Not only that but it’s been reported that three couples decided to leave the show during the first Commitment Ceremony. And are there any couples left?

Insiders told Daily Mail that this mass walkout has caused producers to consider bringing in an intruder couple to fill out the cast.

“This is unheard of,” another source dished. “We’re already down six people, and it’s only been two weeks. The pressure on the remaining cast is enormous, and it’s creating a lot of tension.”

Married at First Sight 2025 will crack down on ‘misogynistic behaviour’

Like all seasons of MAFS, the 2025 series is said to feature toxic behaviour that will rival Jack Dunkley and Harrison Boon‘s antics.

However, things are a lil’ different next season because the brides and grooms have been instructed to clap back at any gross behaviour. And we back this decision!

“As bad as you think it is… it’s worse. This season, we’re not letting this kind of behaviour slide,” one source spilled.

As a result, it’s been said that the grooms will step up and defend their wives against the “misogynistic actions” of others. And Jonathan McCullough, take notes!

Some of the brides are also being warned for diva antics, with production pulling a few of them aside to “chat about their behaviour”.

But nonetheless, there will still be plenty of drama, as this year’s cast “aren’t afraid to call out BS”.

“It’s making for some of the most compelling TV we’ve ever seen,” the source added.

It comes after 2025 groom Dave Hand tried to quit the show after being paired with a “nightmare bride”.
