Married at First Sight Australia 2025 producers have considered changing up the expert panel for the upcoming season.
Since 2021, Alessandra Rampolla, Mel Schilling and John Aiken have given the brides and grooms a grilling during the explosive couch sessions.
However, per Daily Mail, EndemolShine, the production company behind MAFS, has held several meetings with Nine to “discuss potential changes to the show’s format”.

“Producers are always brainstorming ways to keep the show exciting and unpredictable for the audience,” one production insider dished, revealing that adding a new expert to the panel was on the cards.
“There was a genuine interest in seeing what a fresh face could bring to the dynamic on the couch, and several respected relationship experts were interviewed during the process.”
Despite Nine finding a relationship expert that fit the bill, the decision for them to join the panel was canned at the last minute.
“The idea was on the table for quite a while. But ultimately, they decided to stick with the formula that has been working so well,” the insider added.
Another source claimed that producers are “always looking at new ‘experts'” to join the experiment.
It comes after Mel was absent from filming, causing fans to speculate she wouldn’t be part of the 2025 season.
