The former reality star announced the news on Instagram on April 17, revealing that his bae “said yes”.

“I’m the luckiest man in the world to have met you and fallen deeply in love with you,” he penned alongside photos of the proposal, which unfolded at Little Cove Beach, Noosa.

“You are my world and I cannot wait to marry you.”

Despite the April announcement, Matt told Daily Mail Australia he proposed on March 23.

“I have enjoyed and embraced the public’s affection towards me, hosting events, sharing my life to fans on Instagram, and ultimately, finding the love of my life in Dominique!” he told the outlet.

The couple have been together since September 2022.

Beck Zemek and Ben Michell

Married at First Sight Australia 2021‘s Beck Zemek is set to wed for real after her partner Ben Michell proposed.

Married at First Sight 2021 was a season unlike any other and has left many people wondering — which MAFS couples are still together?

The Season Eight bride took to Instagram on April 1 to announce that Ben popped the question on Easter Sunday.

“Was so shocked I couldn’t even get a yes out,” she wrote alongside a video of her partner proposing as they posed for a photo with their daughter, Immy.

“31.03.24 #engaged.”

“YAY! Best wishes babes,” fellow MAFS alum Olivia Frazer wrote, while Booka Nile penned: “Omg Beckkkkkk. Congratulations.”

Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders

Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023‘s Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders have announced they’re engaged!

Now, this may not come as a surprise to many, with fans rallying behind the couple who opted to quit the show early when they became sure their connection was the real deal.

Taking to Instagram on March 17 to announce their happy news, Claire shared a video of her and Andrew celebrating their engagement with their horses.

“I said YES to the love of my life,” the reality star penned. “So grateful that I wake up to this life everyday [sic].”

Dubbing Andrew her “best friend and [her] safe space”, Claire concluded the post with the hashtags, “engaged” and “our best life”.

In another post the following day, Claire flashed her unique engagement ring: yellow gold with a green centre stone.

“17~03~24,” she captioned the snap.

Kiki Morris and Jorge Darek

The Bachelor Australia 2016‘s Kiki Morris and her Spanish bae Jorge Darek are engaged… again?!

Back in February 2023, sources close to the couple revealed that Jorge proposed to Kiki “a few months ago” after eagle-eyed fans spotted a whopper ring on her finger in Instagram pics.

The insider also alleged they were planning to wed in April last year.

However, Jorge and Kiki — who also appeared on The Challenge Australia 2022 — took to Instagram on February 29, 2024 to announce they were newly engaged.

The post was a video of the moment Jorge proposed atop a mountain in Ibiza, Spain.

“So I tricked Kiki into thinking we were going to film our last hike in Ibiza at our favourite place for an Instagram reel!” Jorge wrote.

“As it’s our last week in Ibiza I brought her to this very special place, a place I took her when we first met, to ask her a very important question…..

“SHE SAID YES!”

Ella Ding and Guy Palermo

Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Ella Ding is set to get married FOR REAL after her partner Guy Palermo proposed.

Taking to Instagram on February 24, Ella revealed that “a morning run turned into a proposal”.

“I SAID YES,” she added alongside a video of the moment Guy got down on one knee.

The clip also revealed that a number of her family and friends were nearby to witness the proposal, including Ella’s bestie and MAFS co-star Domenica Calarco.

In an additional post, the 29-year-old said “the man of [her] actual dreams proposed to [her] with [her] friends and family”.

“I love you. I love us and thank you for choosing me,” she continued. “Everything that we have been through lead us back to each other.

“It was all worth it.”

Ella hard-launched her relationship with Guy in April 2023 on Instagram before later revealing in an Instagram Q&A that they had “known each other for six years”.

“We have been friends for a really long time and we did actually date… but the timing was never in our favour.,” she confessed at the time.

Belinda Vickers and Hayden Burbank

Married at First Sight Australia 2021‘s Belinda Vickers has announced her engagement to Melbourne restaurant owner Hayden Burbank.

On February 17, the reality star shared a series of snaps of her special day, simply captioned with the ring and heart emojis.

However, it wasn’t your regular proposal because Hayden prepared Belinda a treasure hunt before he popped the question, which the former MAFS star documented on Instagram. Cute!

A lengthy video captioned “Valentine’s Day surprise”, showed Belinda opening a series of letters with clues taking her to venues around Melbourne before Hayden proposed to her at the Botanic Gardens. Aww!

Gerard Majda and Bec Voysey

Love Island Australia 2019’s Gerard Majda announced his engagement to Bec Voysey in a sponsored post for Timezone, and nothing says romance like an ad!

On February 10, the former Islander took to Instagram to share the big news.

“She didn’t see that coming,” he wrote in the captions. “Found my Mrs Majic. #ad @timezoneaustralia @stefandiamonds”.

He then posted a series of sweet snaps of the proposal and we gotta admit, despite being a literal ad, it looked wholesome AF!

“So this happened yesterday,” she penned. “I’ve been a bit quieter online of late & just really enjoying life!!!

“Obviously I said yes.”

She followed up the announcement with an Instagram Reel on February 5, telling fans that she’s “soaking in that [she has] a fiancé now”.

“Thank you again to everyone for all the beautiful messages, comments & calls — we’re feeling super loved.”

Layla Subritzky and Louis Cooper

Big Brother Australia 2012 ICON Layla Subritzky and her partner Louis Cooper have announced their engagement and we couldn’t be happier for them!

On January 15, Layla gushed over the special moment on Instagram.

“It’s nearly a year since you picked me up in Melbourne, some days I wish my battery was flat that day,” she wrote to the captions with a laughing emoji. “But 99.9 per cent of the time it’s the best thing that ever happened to us.

“We’ve both learnt so much about ourselves in the last year, we laugh A LOT, and make far too many Inbetweeners and Peter Kay jokes, but I wouldn’t have our life any other way.”

Layla, who’s pregnant with twins, added: “We have two ready-made flower girls, (three including David Subritzky) that I know will be your everything when they arrive.

“Another reason it’ll be a YES from me,” she finished, alongside the bride and ring emojis.

The reality star then shared a snap of her GINORMOUS ring and to say we’re jealous would be the understatement of the century!

Carly Bowyer and Neil Goldsmith

Married at First Sight Australia 2018‘s Carly Bowyer and her longtime partner Neil Goldsmith have announced their engagement.

On January 1, the couple took to Instagram to share the news with their followers.

“So this happened,” they captioned their post with a ring emoji. “What a way to end 2023!”

MAFS stars flocked to the comments section to congratulate the pair, including Cam Merchant, Nadia Stamp and Jesse Konstantinoff.

In a second post on January 2, Carly told her followers that when she was younger, an Ouija board told her that the initials of her future husband would be “N.G.”.

“I dated throughout the years but no one ever matched, so I naturally assumed the Ouija board was wrong and didn’t give it too much thought,” she wrote. “But the little girl in me always remembered that night.”

“Whether it was a coincidence that I got those initials, or something else, I’m now engaged to Neil Goldsmith. So I guess it was right,” she finished. And it looks like her spirit guides were on the money!
