For the first time ever, Love Island UK has brought back a former contestant for a second shot at love, and it got us thinking: who would we like to see reintroduced in the Love Island Australia villa?

Love Island UK season eight is proving to be one of the best instalments yet, made all the better by the return of Adam Collard.

The handsome 26-year-old first rose to fame on the show in 2018 and quickly gained infamy for stirring the pot among his co-stars. Now, he’s back and grafting as hard as ever as he tries to woo Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne.

However, now that there’s the potential for ex-Islanders to get their flirt on again, Love Island‘s executive producer Mike Spencer says a bunch of former bombshells are blowing up his phone to return.

Speaking to Deadline, Mike said it’s been “off the hook with former contestants since Adam’s return”.

While he didn’t name any of the former stars who’d rung him, the EP said if they weren’t to “rip up the rule book” this season, their aim would be to “certainly adjust it”.

So, with filming for Love Island Australia 2022 not far off from commencing, we’ve cast our vote on which ex-bombshells we’d like to see shake up the villa once again.

Josh Packham — 2019

Josh Packham became a quick favourite after arriving at the villa alongside his twin brother, Luke, on Day Eight of Love Island Australia season two.

After a matter of days, the now 28-year-old managed to steal Anna McEvoy from Gerard Majda. He also managed to woo the audience too, leading him and his bae to win the show. Oh, and $50,000!

But could he pull it off again?

When asked by So Dramatic! if he’d venture into the villa once more, Josh said never say never.

“I’d have to be watching to see if I liked any of the girls [to see] if I was prepared to go in and steal,” he confessed.

We’ll take that as a yes!

Millie Fuller — 2018

If there’s anyone that needs a do-over, it’s season one star Millie Fuller.

After coupling up with Justin Lacko on day dot, the pair found themselves in murky territory, never seemingly knowing whether they were in a romantic or friendship couple.

While she eventually left the villa loved-up with Mark O’Dare, the couple split just months later. As such, we’d do anything to get this bubbly gal back on our screens!

Josh Moss — 2018

We really thought Josh Moss and his Love Island bae Amelia Marni were endgame. However, we were proved wrong in May 2022 when the duo announced their split after four years together.

The cheeky Islander was a quick fan-favourite whose popularity still ranks highly, as proven by his co-hosting gig on Love Island: Afterparty in 2021.

Erin Barnett — 2018

Fellow season one Islander Erin Barnett is another star we’d LOVE to see on the show again.

The sassy pocket-rocket always spoke her mind and never held back when someone did her wrong.

After coupling up with Eden Dally on Day One, the duo’s solid relationship saw them finish as 2018’s runner-ups. They’ve since split, with Eden shacking up with Married at First Sight Australia‘s Cyrell Paule.

While we’re sure she’d spice things up in round two, Erin has already found love again IRL with her bae Mick Russ.

Mitch Hibberd — 2021

Oh, Mitch Hibberd. Where do we begin?

The brawny larrikin barrelled into the villa in 2021 so quickly that the gals all had whiplash from their heads turning!

While he eventually won the show thanks to his fan-fave romance with Tina Provis, we just know he’d bring the drama yet again based on that tense AF love triangle involving co-star Emily Ward.

Rachael Evren — 2021

As Love Island Australia 2021‘s resident nerd, Harry Potter-loving Rachael Evren had sparks flying when she met Chris Graudins.

However, her dreams of finding love in the villa came crashing after the riot squad officer found a better connection with his eventual co-runner-up, Zoe Clish.

And so, Rachael still needs to find the Ron Weasley to her Hermoine Granger, and what better place than on Love Island 2022?!
