Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023‘s Farmer Andrew and Claire Saunders have shared some exciting family plans and we’re so happy for them!
During an interview with Now to Love on May 1, the couple confessed that they’ve already spoken about having babies.
The 37-year-old admitted that even though things were still fresh between them, the topic of “twins” had come up a few times.
“It would be nice to have twins first up and then see what would happen after that,” the mine truck driver laughed. So cute!
However, the crop and sheep farmer chimed in, saying that he still wanted to enjoy his time with Claire before throwing kids into the mix.
“We’re approaching it with the mindset of, let’s enjoy one another first for a period of time and make memories of our own, and if things keep evolving in a positive manner, then that’ll come,” he said.
The loved-up duo are now living together on Andrew’s farm in Narromine, NSW.
“We have a nice positive thing going here and it is good to finally get to show the world our happiness,” Claire gushed. Aww, we’re obsessed with these two!
Andrew admits that he wanted to be with Claire from the start
On the night that Andrew asked her to stay on the farm, Claire thought that the 41-year-old was going to send her home.
“I really didn’t have a clue that [Andrew was going to pick me],” she admitted.
“I got to the farm and there was a letter on the bed, and it said, ‘Meet me out the front, we need to talk.’ I thought I was going home, so I didn’t expect that, it was nice,” she told Now to Love.
However, Andrew admitted that he knew from “pretty early on” that Claire would be his choice in the end.
“The girls left the farm before me to head out to the country ball, and I knew with that time away that I wanted to see Claire again,” Andrew said.
“I knew that something was changing, and I was looking forward to seeing her again.” We’re not crying, you are!

The couple’s love story officially started when Andrew decided to quit FWAW.
During the April 30 episode, the farmer confessed that he already knew who he wanted to be with.
After bidding the rest of his ladies farewell, Andrew romantically told Claire that he was “falling in love” with her, before asking her if she wanted to stay on the farm with him. And yes, we used up an entire box of tissues during that moment.
