The Block 2023 has been one of the most explosive seasons yet but we’ve heard that the drama is only just getting started. If that’s even possible!
So far, we’ve seen bullying, cheating scandals, mind games, “favouritism” accusations and toxic behaviour.
And as revealed in episode 317 of the So Dramatic! podcast, things are only heating up. In fact, there’s so much drama brewing that it makes MAFS look like Antiques Roadshow!
“It’s been really full on this year,” one insider told So Dramatic!. “There’s going to be a lot more drama coming out and it’s going to get a lot worse than you’ve seen already.”
They added: “The worst is yet to come.” And we’re SHOOK!
The Block insider says the portrayals are 100% ‘ACCURATE’ and yikes
Whilst it’s been reported that this year’s contestants are “devastated” by how they were portrayed on-screen, our insider claimed that the edits were pretty spot on.
“Everything we’ve seen is really accurate to what actually happened. It hasn’t been edited at all,” they dished.
They also revealed that the controversial frenemies Kristy Beams and Leah Milton were “accurately portrayed”.
“Producers have actually done them favours in the sense that they’re showing things exactly as they happened,” they spilled.
“They could’ve made them look a lot worse with editing but they have actually toned it down if anything.
“It was a lot worse in real life,” they added. Sheesh!
The insider sadly confirmed that Leah and Kristy’s bullying towards Steph Ottavio gets “worse and worse”.
“Everyone was [on okay terms when filming wrapped]. But watching it back, Steph isn’t okay with the other girls because she’s seen what they were saying behind her back,” they explained.
“She didn’t even know what they’d said at the time. She had no idea until watching it back with everyone else.” Poor Steph! We hope our Queen knows how much we love her!
Another insider says an ‘ALL-OUT WAR’ is brewing between The Block cast
Another insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle that an “all-out war” was brewing between the cast.
“Big problems start small and we’re only being teased with the actual drama that unfolds in coming weeks,” they said.
The source then explained that some contestants were intentionally cast to butt heads but nobody realised just how much they would clash.
“Building houses will always be the priority for the producers. But even they will admit the drama between the women this year seemed to pull focus,” they continued.
“The tension which keeps building as the series goes on has also shocked the contestants.”
