Some of the cast from Married at First Sight Australia 2023 have received an angry email from Channel Nine after going rogue on their social media accounts whilst still under contract.
The ninth season of the show finished airing in Australia last month. But the participants’ social media accounts still remain in the clutches of the producers until May 8, when the finale will air in the UK.

As such they are *meant* to be on a social media ban to prevent spoilers from leaking.
But most of the contestants have been resorting to less heavily policed platforms to share their post-MAFS lives on.
If you’ve been on TikTok lately, you know it’s teaming with MAFS contestants airing their grievances.
So Dramatic! can reveal this hasn’t exactly gone down well with Channel Nine. The media organisation’s publicity department sent out an email “reminding” contestants of their contractual obligations.

A MAFS contestant leaks the threatening email reminding them of their social media ban
During episode 283 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host and distributor of piping hot tea Megan Pustetto dished on the DM she received from one of the contestants and the accompanying screenshot of the email.
“I just copped this angry email from publicity about my TikTok,” the contestant dished. “I’m in trouble lol.
“I think they must be bothered by how many views my videos are getting.”
Contestants were sent a “reminder, you are still not permitted to use/ interact/ communicate via any form of social media at this time including Facebook or TikTok“.
All social media accounts “should still be set to private”.
“If you are or have been posting to other platforms such as TikTok, please cases to do so, remove the content posted and return your account to private,” the email said.

As threatening as the correspondence is, it seems as though pretty much none of the MAFS participants give a sh*t, to put it bluntly.
Plus two brides told So Dramatic! they “don’t care” about the threats from Nine and are going to continue posting online. You do you, babes!
Which Married at First Sight participants have gone rogue on social media?
Some MAFS cast members have garnered millions of views per video on TikTok so they figure the publicity is worth the risk.
Janelle Han was busted doing sponsored influencer deals on Instagram despite producers’ warnings.
Similarly, Bronte Schofield pissed off a few fans when she revealed she was “single..AGAIN” on TikTok.
And Ollie Skelton recently hosted a juicy AMA on Reddit where he spilled some major tea about the show and everyone on it.

Obviously, this is the sort of juicy content we live for so we’re defs not complaining!
