Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom Cameron Woods has narrowly avoided being eaten by a crocodile while he was FaceTiming his co-star Alyssa Barmonde.

The Darwin-based tradie was a little preoccupied chatting on the phone when he unintentionally happened upon the crocodile and “almost got eaten”. Sheesh!

ICYMI: The 27-year-old was exposed, quite literally, during the MAFS reunion for showing Tayla Winter his penis on a FaceTime call while he was in a nightclub AND still married to Lyndall Grace at the time. So the croc encounter is not his first time running into danger during a FaceTime call.

Alyssa, who if you didn’t know has a child, was somehow recording the ordeal as it unfolded and shared it ok TikTok. So we can literally see the smug look on Cameron’s face as his life flashed before his very eyes.

“Just a regular day in the NT,” the bride captioned the post.

In the shakey clip, the 27-year-old is seen walking along the water’s edge before the beast lunges at Cameron and his filthy mo.

But the bottom feeder decides Cameron wouldn’t make for a tasty dinner and rejects him much like his TV wife did.

Alyssa covers her mouth in shock before being overcome with laughter.

“POV: Cameron from MAFS FaceTimes you and almost gets eaten by a croc,” Alyssa wrote over the screen recording.

Married at Fist Sight fans react to Cameron Woods narrowly avoiding crocodile attack

The encounter seems entirely perilous to mere commoners like us. But the remote-working carpenter is no stranger to the Northern Territory and brushed it off as no biggie.

“It was only a freshie [freshwater crocodile]. It would have given me a little nibble but wouldn’t kill me, I hope,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle.

The MAFS fandom are still pissed off at Cameron for being a dead average husband so being eaten by a croc was exactly the karma he deserves.

“Maybe the croc will get him next time,’ one TikTok user commented, to which Cameron flexed his sarcasm and replied: “It would be doing me a favour.”

“So he is FaceTiming all the girls,” another fan wrote referring to the sexting scandal.

“At least he didn’t have his willy out,” someone else quipped, again referencing his spicy NSFW chat with Tayla.

Let this be a lesson to everyone not to sext your co-stars because a croc will come for you.
