Married at First Sight Australia 2023 fans praised Lyndall Grace for her iconic break-up speech to Cameron Woods at their Final Vows Ceremony.

The 27-year-old singer warned the Northern Territory-based tradie to “stay in [his] lane” after delivering a scathing monologue explaining why she deserved better.

Lyndall – who applied for MAFS after starting a life-changing new medication for her chronic illness – had been “strung along” for weeks by Cameron.

The carpenter ultimately admitted at the final Dinner Party (and again to his mates in Darwin) that he couldn’t see himself “falling in love” with her” and he didn’t want to make “sacrifices” so she would fit in with his life. Big yikes!

But Lyndall made sure she would get the final word in, starting her Final Vows by reflecting on the short list of good moments of their shared Married at First Sight experience.

“When I first met you on our wedding day, you were warm, welcoming, funny and sweet. You instantly made me feel at ease like I finally found what I was looking for,” Lyndall said.

Cameron’s smug look quickly dropped off his face as she continued: “Unfortunately, at one point or another, the man I met at our wedding started fading away.

“In our first few weeks together, you could barely sit through the smallest of criticisms and constantly walked out of hard conversations, leaving me to pick up the pieces.”

Lyndall noted that she developed “resilience” from having Cystic Fibrosis her entire life.

“I won’t spend another moment of that life restricting not by my condition, not by my body, not by fear and certainly not by you,” she said.

“To put it plainly, stay in your lane, and I’ll stay in mine. I want to build a life I’m proud of and that life does not include you.”

Before Cameron began his own vows, Lyndall cut him off saying: “I just feel like no matter what you say today, it’s only going to disappoint me again. I think I’m just done.”

Married at First Sight fans revelled in Cameron’s “tantrum” as he threw his vows at her feet and stomped off.

“Get me in a car. I’m out of here. That’s me done,” he grumbled.

Lyndall still pulled over the final zinger, calling his performance “classic” and reminding viewers that it “wouldn’t be a hard conversation with Cam spitting the dummy and walking out”.
