Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom Cameron Woods was been spotted partying with co-star Jesse Burford in his on-screen wife Lyndall Grace‘s hometown of Perth and it looks like he might have exaggerated the remoteness of his work.

This sighting is a pretty big deal because during the show the 27-year-old carpenter told Lyndall he wasn’t willing to sacrifice his career to move to her home city of Perth.

Cameron also told Lydall not to give up her life in Perth and move to Darwin for him because he would still be living (and presumably working very hard) remotely for six to 12 months at a time, often with no phone reception.

But low and behold Cameron was able to find time in his busy remote working schedule to catch up with fellow MAFS groom Jesse at Perth gay bar The Court. PERTH! The irony is just too much…

The post was shared by the venue and the comments are absolute gold too with many taking up the opportunity to rip into Perth.

Married at First Sight’s Cameron Woods uses his carpentry career as an ‘excuse’ to end his relationship with Lyndall Grace

During the final Dinner Party on March 22, Cameron fessed up and told Lyndall he couldn’t see their relationship continuing outside the experiment. But he told her in front of all of the other participants which is a small d*ck move.

“I think this has been the biggest issue throughout our whole relationship. The external side of it. I don’t know if you’ll fit into my life in the NT. Doesn’t mean you can’t fit into parts of my lifestyle,” Cameron said.

Despite being told he would be “crazy to let Lyndall go“, Cameron claimed he wasn’t “the right person” for her long-term.

“I don’t think I am [the right person for you],” he said.

“You need someone who can show you all this affection and give you reassurance.

Then he harked on about how important his career is (again).

“I’ve spent the last eight years focusing on [my work] to get to the position I’m at now,” Cameron continued.
