Married at First Sight Australia 2023 Lyndall Grace dumped her longtime, live-in boyfriend to go on Married at First Sight Australia 2023.
Upon entering the experiment, the 27-year-old bride expressed that she’d been unable to find someone to love her due to her battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
However, it appears the accountant didn’t have much trouble in the dating department at all and actually had a serious boyfriend when she signed up for the show.
As revealed in episode 265 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Lyndall was very much in a relationship when she applied for the dating series, according to multiple sources.
“She was in a relationship with her live-in boyfriend Travis for years before she suddenly called things off with him,” a source dished. “Then a few weeks later she was on MAFS.”
They added: “I’m friends with Travis and she just broke up with him out of the blue.”

A second source reaffirmed that the TV bride actually “broke up with him just to go on the show”. They also revealed she was still “posting with him” on social media until just a few weeks before filming began.
“He was blindsided by it and absolutely heartbroken,” they said. “She’s always been a bit of a fame-chaser.”
A third source spilled even more tea about Lyndall and Travis’ relationship.
“Lyndall got onto the show before she even broke up with her partner who stuck by her for years with her CF condition knowing she had a shortened life expectancy,” they said.
“They were planning a future together before MAFS and he wanted to be with her long-term, so the whole ‘no one wanted a future with me’ story is not actually legit.” Yikes!
Lyndall blocked Travis ‘on everything’ when she went on MAFS but then reached out to him after filming
According to the source, Lyndall had even told her friends she “wanted to go on the show to make it big.”
“Cystic Fibrosis sufferers got the approval of Trikafta medication to severely increase their life expectancy, so all the stars aligned and the next day she broke up with Travis out of the blue,” they explained.
Adding: “She blocked him on everything.” OUCH!
They also claim Lyndall was still posting photos with Travis and tagging him in social media posts until June 2022.
“So she’s absolutely broken up with him for the show,” they said.
Filming for Married at First Sight Australia 2023 began in early August.
However, Lyndall reportedly tried to get back with Travis after things didn’t work out with her on-screen partner Cameron Woods.
“Once filming ended, she unblocked him and messaged him and tried to hang out with him again,” they claimed.
