One Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom has been caught purchasing Instagram followers and it sounds like his 15 minutes of fame didn’t do much for him.
On April 18, Yahoo Lifestyle reported that one MAFS groom accused Melinda Willis of purchasing followers.
However, as revealed in episode 281 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a contestant revealed that Dan Hunjas actually has a fake following. And to make matters worse, he’s *allegedly* been the person behind the false Melinda narrative!
“We all think it’s Dan who is the source of these claims actually, not Harrison [Boon],” an insider spilled.
“I think Harrison cares more about bulk sex ops after, whereas Dan is in marketing and thought he would be famous so when he got his edit, he started buying [followers] and everyone busted him.” LOL!
The source went on to reveal that they actually saw the 42-year-old purchase his followers and that’s some pretty solid evidence.
“We saw him buying 10,000 fake followers overnight and he also bought 500 likes per pic before they went back down to 27 likes a few days later,” they added. Desperate much?
Well, it seems like the semi-retired businessman will do anything to make his way to the D-list!
Did Melinda Willis purchase Instagram followers?
Unlike most of her castmates, the beauty CEO has gained around 200,000 new followers since MAFS started airing.
“The show ended weeks ago and [Melinda’s] still gaining thousands of followers every single day when the rest of us are barely getting any. It’s suss,” a groom, who is now believed to be Dan, told Yahoo Lifestyle.
However, after completing an audit of the 32-year-old‘s social media following, Yahoo Lifestyle confirmed that Melinda’s fanbase was 100% genuine.
It looks like Dan was trying to cover for himself as per usual! Maybe he should just jog swim on…
