Tahnee Cook has slammed her Married at First Sight Australia co-stars for being fame-hungry, and has claimed it’s the reason she got “zero airtime”.

During an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the 27-year-old took a stab at contestants who go on the show just for fame.

“Obviously, you’re aware of what opportunities can come your way being on the show, but I don’t think that should be your reason for going on,” the PR manager spilled.

She then said that viewers “aren’t stupid”, and they can see through contestants who aren’t looking for love. Hmm, we must admit, this is an interesting take coming from someone who has dreamed of becoming an influencer since her teenage years!

Tahnee’s swipe at her co-stars comes after the backlash received by Channel Nine about casting former reality TV personalities.

Contestants such as Evelyn Ellis, Adam Seed and Alyssa Barmonde have already appeared on the small screen in the past, which viewers found very disingenuous.

But despite being a content creator herself, Tahnee claimed that she went on MAFS for all the right reasons.

Ollie [Skelton] and I got zero airtime, but we are happy. People still get to see our personalities and who we are,” she shared.

“We’re pretty chill about things. My goal was finding a partner and anything else was a bonus.”

Tahnee then added that being genuine was her “point of difference” from her co-stars. Ouch!

Experts say the Married at First Sight 2023 stars don’t have what it takes to become influencers

Tahnee got something right. The public can see through fame-hungry contestants as it’s been reported that this year’s MAFS cast doesn’t have what it takes to become influencers.

Although a swarm of MAFS 2023 stars have signed with talent managers, an expert revealed that their follower counts aren’t even close to what they need to make it in the industry.

Perhaps MAFS isn’t such a great place to search for fame anymore?
