Married at First Sight Australia 2023 intruder Evelyn Ellis is no stranger to the limelight, having appeared on Big Brother UK in 2016.
Filming for the latest instalment of MAFS is well underway in Sydney, and the majority of the cast has already been unveiled. However, we were yet to be introduced to the hotly anticipated intruders — until episode 213 of the So Dramatic! podcast dropped, that is!
As reported by host Megan Pustetto, 26-year-old Evelyn has signed onto the controversial series.
It seems controversy is the bombshell’s strong suit, having already made waves on TV six years ago.
The reality star found herself at the centre of viewer complaints when she appeared on Big Brother UK during a five-year stint of living in England.
The criticisms came after Evelyn shared a steamy kiss with another female contestant in a spa while topless, under the direction of Marco Pierre White Jr — yes, the son of that scary AF MasterChef guest star.
Despite the public TV pash, the model confessed she wasn’t looking for love.
“I feel like a guy that’s good enough for me would not be in the Big Brother house,” Evelyn told viewers at the time. And what, a bloke on Married at First Sight is?!
According to her Big Brother bio, Evelyn “admits that she comes across as intimidating and stuck up”. Christ on a bike, MAFS 2023 just got all the more interesting!
What Else Do We Know About Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Evelyn Ellis?
Born to a Chinese mother and English father, Evelyn is an only child raised in Hurstville, Sydney.
The incoming MAFS star moved overseas after high school to pursue career opportunities (read: reality TV gigs) before moving back to Oz five years later.
Evelyn is already proving to be popular AF, with over 64,900 followers on Instagram — which is littered with hot AF pics of the stunner.
There are already several reality TV alums in that follower count too. This includes Beauty and the Geek‘s Josie Werner and Love Island‘s Kim Hartnett, Nicholas Love and Emily Ward. Plus, Big Brother VIP‘s Imogen Anthony.
It also feels important to note that despite her TV credits, Evelyn is yet to be blessed with a verified account.
As such, it remains to be seen whether she’s appearing on Married at First Sight for love or a blue tick.

What can we expect from Evelyn on MAFS? One source who knows her described her as “extremely outspoken and confident.”
“You wouldn’t want to get on her bad side or cross her,” they told So Dramatic!. “She is not scared to say her piece.” We’re sensing she might be at the centre of some dramas – plural!
Another close friend told So Dramatic! that she has a great sense of humour.
“She’s going to be hilarious, she’s so down to earth but also so lovely,” they dished. “Funniest personality, I feel like AUS will fall in love with her.” Famous last words…
