Sarah Jane Wilson and Tom Calleja‘s house from The Block 2022 is now up for rent, but it comes at the hefty price of $12,000 a month.
The pair, who sold their house for $4.1 million on the show’s auction day, have announced that the four-bedroom, ten-acre property is now up for rent.
A video shared on their Instagram showed the house with a ‘For Rent’ sign. In the background, Tom is heard saying: “This could be yours for $2,800 a week.”
So, to live in the house, you’d be paying $12,133 a month, and $145,600 a year. Yeah, no thanks. Unless someone is offering to pay for us?
“Evoking the still tranquillity of the nearby mountain range and offering innate luxury on an indulgent level, this 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom architectural residence beautifully unites its period origins with bespoke country relaxation,” the house’s rent description reads.
The house is “partly furnished” and only includes a “washer & dryer”, a “fridge [and] 2 x wine fridges”, as well as “tables, chairs, couches, beds (no bed linen), sideboards, outdoor furniture.”
And TBH, for $2,800 a week, we’d expect bed linen.
Omar Slaimankhel and Ozman Abu Malik’s house from The Block 2022 is also up for rent
Omar Slaimankhel and Ozman “Oz” Abu Malik‘s house from The Block 2022 is also up for rent. And it’s the same price as Sarah Jane and Tom’s property.
Omar and Oz won their season of The Block, selling their house for $1.5 million.
Like Tom and Sarah Jane’s house, Omar and Oz’s property is partly furnished with the same inclusions.
The rent advertisement describes the house as “meticulously designed” and “indulgent”.
“Omar and Oz have meticulously designed indulgent winning spaces. The central bathroom, ensuite, and guest bathroom showcase walk-in showering and free-standing pampering baths with gorgeous copper piping highlights, Velux skylights, plantation shutters and rustic herringbone tiling,” the listing reads.
If only we could afford to live in such boujee places!
