The Block 2022 contestants have reportedly cut ties with winners Omar Slaimankhel and Oz Malik after the dramatic final auctions.
The Western Sydney best mates made a record-breaking $1,586,666.66 profit during the November 6 finale, while their co-stars made very little — if anything at all.
Now, Sharon Johal — whose home she made over with husband Ankur Dogra failed to sell under the hammer — has confessed that “no one” is speaking to Omar and Oz following their win.
“No one else is really talking to the boys and haven’t been for some time,” she told the Herald Sun.
However, she did note that she and Ankur are the exception, given they’ve remained “friends with all the couples”. She also recently shared a snap of herself smoking shisha with House Five and their family.
The former Neighbours actress addressed the cast’s relationships after Tom Calleja stated he wasn’t down for a friendship with House Three.
“No one wants to hang around negativity, do they?” he said on October 28. “I have no interest in pursuing a friendship with them.”
According to Sharon, the remark was “quite unnecessary and nasty”.
It follows So Dramatic!‘s reports that Tom’s wife Sarah-Jane Wilson accidentally sent a “b*tching” text message about Sharon to the contestants’ group chat.
As such, it’s no wonder Sharon and Ankur have hung up their reality TV boots following weeks of drama en masse.
“Absolutely no more reality TV for us,” Sharon admitted. “Just the scripted stuff.
“We’ll see what we do in terms of the lifestyle space, but this was one of those life lessons where we got burnt. We’re grateful for the experience even though it wasn’t what we wanted.”
