In his leaked Married at First Sight Australia 2023 audition tape, Dan Hunjas revealed admitted he’s had a turbulent dating life after two failed marriages.
The 42-year-old businessman left the experiment on March 5, after telling his partner Sandy Jawanda she wasn’t outdoorsy enough for him. And his failed TV marriage wasn’t his only one.
His first marriage, which lasted just one year, ended shortly after the pair had a daughter.
Dan had more luck with his second marriage which lasted 12 years. He revealed that it ended because the couple “grew together, but ultimately, grew apart,” leaving him heartbroken.
The semi-retired businessman admitted that despite being divorced twice, he didn’t feel like he’d been in failed relationships.
“[The relationships] were actually very successful from my perspective,” he shared.

Over the past two years, the TV groom has been a serial dater. And given he had four “secret girlfriends” during MAFS, we’re not surprised!
The father-of-one shared that getting back into dating was a “bit of a trainwreck to start off with,” and by the looks of it, not much has changed.
When asked about his love life, he shared that one of his close friends said, “you’re one of the smartest men I know, but when it comes to dating, you’re one of the dumbest.”
The MAFS groom attributes this to being in long-term relationships for the past 19 years.
“The last time I was single, there was no such thing as these online dating platforms,” he confessed.
Dan went on to describe himself as a “work in progress.”
“I still fuck up a lot in life [but] I take accountability for my actions,” he shared.
We know this isn’t true, as it was apparently the ocean’s fault his relationship with Sandy fell apart.
