Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Martha Kalifatidis and fiancé Michael Brunelli have revealed the gender of their baby just weeks away from their due date.
The fan-favourite couple told fans on September 5 that they were expecting their first child after discovering Martha was pregnant while holidaying in Rome.
However, the TV bride has been suffering from the rare pregnancy illness Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
The heavily pregnant influencer posted to Instagram Stories on February 9, sharing a reel of the moment she discovered whether she was having a boy or a girl.
“Oh, boy do we have news,” Martha captioned the heartwarming video.
The footage begins with the reality star in black bikini bottoms floating in a pool of water before it flashes to a sonogram of the couple’s unborn child.
Michael is then seen gifting his fiancée a jewellery box before several intimate family moments flash through the footage.
As Martha opens the jewellery box she is overcome with emotion before revealing the sex of her child.
“It’s a boy,” she and Michael can be excitedly heard saying in the footage. Michael gifted the mother-to-be with a stunning blue diamond gender reveal ring to mark the occasion.
“Heeeeeeeeee will be here soon!” Michael wrote on his Story alongside a blue love heart.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better reveal and for Martha to have something to remind her of the strength she’s had throughout the last nine months.”
Michael also shared an image to Instagram of Martha’s belly, with the caption, “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be here soon!”
Now that the pair know they’re having a boy, we guess they can begin fine-tuning that cute AF list of baby names they’ve come up with!

Martha reached her third trimester last month and recently opened up about how her journey to motherhood had been both “exciting and terrifying.”
Michael also revealed how Martha’s hyperemesis gravidarum ‘nearly destroyed’ their relationship. He first thought her symptoms were normal, but as the weeks went on, her discomfort became “extreme.”
“She was vomiting, refused to eat, couldn’t tolerate drinking water, was nauseous 24 hours a day and unable to get out of bed,” he told Body & Soul.

Just one day after announcing they were expecting, Michael and Martha chatted all things parenthood with Nova’s Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli.
Given the couple’s recent European romp, the radio hosts recommended that the newly engaged couple should consider Italian baby names, thanks to the enviable location.
Wippa even suggested the name Maximus, inspired by Russell Crowe’s character in Gladiator. We’re not sure if Martha picked up on the reference, but she jokingly admitted the moniker was “quite chic”.
However, it appears the concept of using an Italian name wasn’t too far off the mark.
The influencer admitted that she loves the name Francesca, which also happens to be the name of Fitzy’s daughter.
Can we expect to see a male version of this moniker on their bub’s future birth certificate? We certainly hope so!
