Married at First Sight Australia‘s Michael Brunelli has hit back at trolls who have slammed his fiancée Martha Kalifatidis for wearing inappropriate clothing while pregnant.

The duo, who met in the marriage experiment in 2019, announced in September that they are expecting their first child.

While they’ve been met with a plethora of well wishes, a number of their followers have taken the opportunity to scrutinise the TV bride’s choice to show her pregnancy bump publicly.

Taking to Instagram on November 17, Michael, 31, highlighted the nasty comments with a permanent spot on the grid with the ultimate “f*ck you”: a pic of Martha flashing her belly.

“You need a good maternity clothes hun [sic],” one user penned. “There’s plenty on [sic] nice ones out there.”

They continued: “I mean I love you but tbh that clothes look ridiculous you’re pregnant now there’s plenty of fashionable maternity clothes you can get [sic].”

Another alleged they’d “never see a trashier pregnant person”.

“This is disgusting dress properly [sic].”

However, Michael wasn’t having it, defending Martha with the caption: “F**k both of you, she does what she wants.

“With Love, Michael.”

Martha — who often stuns in designer wear that showcases her bump — then shared her partner’s post, noting that “so many women” are bothered by how she dresses.

“So many women pressed that I’m not wearing maternity clothes and chose to show my stomach,” she penned.

“If you don’t like what you see, just unfollow me; promise I won’t be sad to see you leave.”

Martha told fans to “unfollow” her if they “don’t like what [they] see”.

The criticism follows fans raising concern for Martha and her unborn child’s safety after she was filmed not wearing a seatbelt while travelling to the Melbourne Cup Carnival in early November.
