Below Deck Down Under Season 2 has been confirmed and we have all the tea of the new cast members and returning yachting crew.

As reported on episode 249 of the So Dramatic! podcast, several Below Deck Mediterranean stars were spotted filming Down Under in the Whitsundays, Queensland.

An insider source confirmed that Med alum Joao Grant Franco will appear on Below Deck Down Under Season 2 along with returning Chief Stew Aesha Scott, who was spotted on location in May 2022.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King will also appear in Down Under’s second season.

Meanwhile, Culver Bradbury has already sparked hook-up rumours… Because, of course, he has.

“He is hooking up with a stew from WA. Her name is Jaimee Neale,” our insider revealed in episode 249.

Jaimee hinted at her Below Deck debut last year, tagging several posts in Cairns. In June 2022, she wrote on Instagram: “Been doing some fun things, stay tuned.”

It comes after So Dramatic! exclusively revealed that Captain Jason Chambers was also spotted filming on the superyacht Thalassa in July 2022.

“We are currently on holiday, and the cast and crew are staying here (and filming today), so we have jumped on it,” our spy said.

The source added that “he was so lovely.” And honestly, it checks out because we would expect no less from Captain Cutie!

The supersleuth noted that she had been running into the production crew every morning during her trip.

She said that while they were “under strict instructions” to stay mum, they told her they were filming season two.

Another So Dramatic! listener spotted the cast filming a dinner scene at Ollie’s Italian restaurant in 2022, including Jason donning the “worst worker of the week” disco ball helmet. ICONIC!

“The only cast member I definitely recognised [was] our fave Chief Stew, Aesha,” they admitted.

When does Below Deck Down Under Season 2 start?

The first season of the Australian spin-off started airing on March 17, 2022, so it’s possible that the second season could start at a similar time in 2023, but that’s not yet been confirmed.

Either way, bring it on, boaties!
