Below Deck Down Under‘s resident chef Ryan McKeown has made his disdain for Chief Stew Aesha Scott well-known, now taking the beef to the comment section.
We may only be six episodes into the latest Below Deck spin-off but the chef has made one thing clear Down Under — he’s not here to f*ck spiders.
The most recent episodes have seen tensions reach new heights after Ryan told Aesha to stick to cleaning duties after she questioned his yachting experience.
“How many yachts have you actually worked on?” Aesha asked the American chef.
His response? “I don’t know, how many vacuums have you pushed? How many f*cking frying plans have you flipped? You stick to vacuums, I’ll stick to cooking.”
Now, it appears their relationship is still on the rocks after the 35-year-old took to Instagram to call the Chief Stew “scum”.
Making the most of his villain status, Ryan has been posting (TBH, quite sh*tty) memes about himself, inciting plenty of anger from Below Deck Down Under fans.
After Ryan suggested one angered fan “obviously [thinks] reality TV is real”, another viewer wanted him to clarify whether his behaviour was “edited”.
“So your not a total douche? It was all edited? You didn’t call a woman a ratchet bitch? That was editing? Or calling [Aesha] a scumbag, Editing? [sic]” they penned.
The chef quickly came back with his own blunt comment: “Aesha is scum”. Yikes.
Fans Have Dubbed Ryan McKeown the Villain of Below Deck Down Under
After very few episodes, Ryan quickly reached villain status thanks to his arrogant attitude.
Unsurprisingly, fans took to social media en masse to address the chef’s toxic behaviour and attitude towards his fellow staff.
I already hate Chef Ryan on Below Deck Down Under, what an arrogant douchebag! #BelowDeckDownUnder

I cannot believe Ryan’s arrogance of Below Deck Down Under. Does he think he owns the boat? I would have read him hard.

Some even went as far as to request he be replaced for season two!
Is there any way you could do double duty and replace Ryan as chef next season on the Below Deck down under franchise? Please? 🥺 😘
