Below Deck Mediterranean’s Natalya Scudder STILL hasn’t unblocked second stew Kyle Viljoen on Instagram as tensions continue to rise in the show’s seventh season.
ICYMI: The interior cast mates have gone from best (ship)mates to arch enemies, blowing up at each other at any given moment and b*tching behind each other’s backs.
Now, speaking to host Megan Pustetto during episode 222 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the Aussie crew member revealed where it all went wrong.
“Kyle and I have such loud personalities,” Natalya, 25, said.
“It started as really friendly back-and-forth banter, and as the season went on, the banter started having a sting to it. Like, ‘Oh, you didn’t pick up that dirty towel’. Then it started getting a bit too negative where we’re like, ‘is that person joking? Or are they being serious?'”
While being “exhausted” and working “endless hours” was part of the issue, Natalya did admit that she and Kyle got “frustrated” with each other.
“I think it just got past the point of, like, a few things were said behind my back, and I just didn’t appreciate it, and I thought he was going to be a friend, like, he could at least speak to my face.”
According to the reality star, their relationship became “very b*tchy” and “very catty”.
“Kyle’s pretty full-on,” she dished. “I’ve got a loud voice; he’s got a loud voice. But he’s, like, full into the cliques and the hand waving in the face.
“He’s very dramatic with his responses.”

Filming of Below Deck Mediterranean concluded in September 2021; however, their ongoing feud didn’t end when they disembarked the superyacht Home, and Natalya was forced to “block” Kyle on the ‘gram.
“I currently still have Kyle blocked,” she admitted. “Sometimes I hit a point where I’m just like, do you know what? I just can’t deal with that person and their rubbish any longer, so I like to block them at that moment.”
The Western Australian local also revealed that a “few things he [Kyle] posted led up to this”.
“[He posted] some anti-bully this, anti-that and like all woman empowerment stuff,” she said. “But then, he’s the first person to call someone a b*tch. I’m not for it. It’s very fake.”

While their on-screen feud has reached boiling point (at the time of publication), Natalya did say that Kyle has reached out to her.
“[He has] reached out and has apologised, and I think there’s definitely room to fix the issues we’re going through. I think I will unblock him in the next couple of days.
“Maybe I will give an olive branch because, in the end, I get over everything super quickly, and I feel he does as well.”
Natalya Scudder Talks About Her Ongoing Issues with Chief Stew Natasha Webb
Natalya, Kyle and their chief stew, Natasha Webb, began Season Seven as a tight unit; however, things began to unravel due to a lot of “behind-the-scenes” drama.
“Natasha, Kyle and I, we started off, like, amazing at the start of the season,” she said. “And then a lot of stuff behind the scenes with Tash [was happening]… like the boyfriend and the chef [Dave White]. Looking back at the season now, I’m like, ‘oh my god, I didn’t know that was happening.'”
The third stew did give Natasha some concessions, admitting that she was “going through a lot of stressful things”.
“I don’t think she was able to show her full potential,” Natalya said. “I have heard from other people that she’s an amazing chief stew, and she is great. She’s actually a really nice, genuine person, but I think it just got really catty.
“A lot of things were said behind each other’s backs, and I think just her stress impacted her work performance.”
While Natasha struggled with her off-screen boyfriend, Natalya had a blossoming yet rocky AF romance with bosun Storm Smith — where she quickly wrote him off because of his intensity.
Watching back, Natalya is struggling to understand how her boss couldn’t do the same with her on-again-off-again boyfriend back home.
“I’m like, off with the ex, on to the next mentality,” Natalya admitted. “Where, like, I move on.
“If it’s not working, it’s not working, and I’m on to the next person. I wouldn’t put up with anyone, you know, treating me like that.”
