Love Island Australia 2022‘s Claudia Bonifazio and Austen Bugeja have revealed their heartwarming future plans to move in together very soon!
The winning couple admitted to So Dramatic! that having a long-distance relationship had been “torture” after spending so much time together in the villa, so they’ve fast-tracked their goal to live together.
Austen, 22, has been based in Sydney since they flew back from Mallorca, Spain. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Claudia has been living with her family in Adelaide.
“It was really hard. He was great though, he reassured me every day. But it’s hard because you just miss them,” Claudia admitted.
Austen quickly agreed about how difficult it was to be separated after spending eight weeks together.
On the bright side, they explained the distance made it “so much better when you see them because you’re so excited”.
“It’s added more depth to our connection and the love that we have,” Austen said
He added: “I feel like not many people can say that they can do long distance. We have that under our belt now. It’s strengthened and deepened our love and connection”.

The loved-up couple had been flying between states to see each other every two weeks. But they eventually decided that Austen would temporarily move in for the near future with Claudia and her fam.
They plan on finding a “little apartment” together in the South Australian capital; before both returning to Sydney. Love that for them!
