Farmer Wants a Wife used to be considered the feel-good TV event of the year, with successful couples from the earlier seasons starting adorable families and all around just being wholesome AF.

FWAW is dubbed as the “most successful” reality dating show on Aussie TV, despite the off-screen drama with contestant feuds and scandals that could even rival MAFS.

While there are quite a few Farmer Wants a Wife couples still going, we’re more stumped at the absolute truckload of bubs that came out of the show.

Honestly, Hayley Love‘s baby daddy drama with farmer Will Dwyer is just the tip of the FWAW kiddie iceberg.

There are almost 20 FWAW whippersnappers wandering around these days and we reckon the show is single-handedly trying to raise rural Australia’s population at this rate.

So while we can absolutely confirm it’s the most fertile show on Aussie TV, can Farmer Wants a Wife still be considered the most successful?

The Successful Farmer Wants a Wife Couples That Are Still Together In 2024

Season One – Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney

Farmer Wants a Wife kicked off with a flying start during its inaugural season, back in 2007.

Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney met on the show and their wedding was even shown on the following season.

More than fifteen years on, the couple are still together and share a son and a daughter.

Season Two – Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham

Farmer Wants a Wife’s second season was also a success, with cattle farmer Rob Hodges falling for Jo Fincham.

After appearing on the show in 2008, city-slicker Jo moved to regional Mount Gambier to be with Rob and the couple now share three children. They even appeared again in 2021, vouching for their bestie Farmer Will Dwyer… Yikes.

Season Three – Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg

In 2009, season three’s Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg hit it off immediately.

In 2011, Rachael had to undergo an emergency C-section to deliver their first son Harvey Richard after a difficult 24 hours in labour.

They tied the knot in 2016 and now share three children.

Season Four – Scott Warby and Clare Spark AND Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion

It was a two-for-one special during season 4, with two couples staying together for 14 years (and counting!).

Rural Queensland farmer Scott Warby and Brisbane-based Clare Spark dated long distance for nine months before he popped the question.

The couple met-up every other weekend, despite living a whopping six hours apart.

Nowadays, the married couple lives in the border-town of Mungindi and have two children.

Meanwhile, Lithgow-baed cattle farmer Brad Crane proposed to Stacie Marmion six months after meeting on Farmer Wants a Wife, despite previously admitting he appeared on the TV show for a “bit of fun”.

They share three daughters — Darcie, Bobbie, and Frankie. They’re like the “ie” version of the Kardashians, so cute!

Season Five – Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker

While many reality stars find their romance doesn’t last after the cameras are turned off, it appears Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker‘s whirlwind relationship on FWAW in 2010 was the exception.

Nathan (either bravely or impulsively, depending on how you look at it) proposed to Amanda during the season five finale.

Luckily, it all worked out well for the reality TV stars and they now share three children.

Season Seven – Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly

We certainly have our doubts about five-minute speed dating, but it all turned out swimmingly for Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly in 2011.

After season six flopped in the long-term romance department, grazier Frank and his newfound Perth-based office worker beau picked up the slack both on and off-screen during season seven.

Frank proposed to Tenille two years later on Valentine’s Day in 2013 and they now share a son named Oliver.

Season Eight – Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne

Travel agent Jodie Byrne was in for the adventure of a lifetime after meeting cattle musterer Sam Alford on Farmer Wants a Wife in 2012.

The Sydneysider relocated to Sam’s rural Western Australian property soon after they met on the show and he proposed in December the same year.

The couple married at the beginning of 2015 and share a child named River.

Season 11 – Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan

After patiently waiting through a lengthy hiatus for Farmer Wants a Wife to return to TV, 2020’s reboot delivered a whole lot of drama. However, we didn’t actually get any lasting romances.

But, season 11 couple Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan came through the following year and declared their love for each other in the FWAW 2021 finale.

In March, the couple surprised fans by announcing they got married. And we just love love!

Season 12 – Jess Cova and Will Simpson AND Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman

It was another bumper season in 2022 as two couples found love.

Although tragedy befell Jess Cova and Will Simpson when Jess’ beloved Dachshund, George, passed away, the pair have reached a massive relationship milestone.

In January 2023 the adorable couple introduced a new puppy into their family, named Clyde.

“The BEST birthday gift ever. Introducing Clyde George Simpson 🐾 Welcome to our world little one 🤍,” Jess wrote on Instagram.

The pair also celebrated their two-year anniversary in March.

As for fellow 2022 participants Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman, their journey to happily ever after wasn’t always smooth sailing.

In October 2022, Harry chose to pursue a relationship with Tess. He moved to the Gold Coast to live with her whilst she finished her psychology degree, leaving his farm in rural Victoria.

However, in April 2023, the couple announced that they were relocating to Victoria to be closer to both of their families as they plan to start a family of their own soon. Aww!

Season 13 – Matt Young and Olivia Benic, Brad Jones and Clare Hockings, David McMahon and Emily Gordon AND Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders

In a FWAW first, all of the farmers found love in the 2023 season. And whilst Brenton Kuch and Sophie Holcombe sadly called it quits in July 2023, all of the other ADORABLE couples continued to make it work.

Of the 2023 cast, there were two engagements, with Claire Saunders and Andrew Coleman announcing their big news on March 17 and David McMahon popping the question to Emily Gordon back in October 2023.

Meanwhile, Clare Hockings and Brad Jones became parents, welcoming their baby boy Roy Grahame Jones into the world in December 2023.

On the other hand, Matt Young and Olivia Benic announced that they’d purchased their first property together back in March.

And who said you couldn’t find love on national TV?
