Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023‘s Sophie Holcombe and Brenton Kuch have broken up and we really thought these two were endgame.
On July 1, the social media manager took to Instagram to announce the shocking news.
“I have an update to share,” she wrote to her Story. “With a heavy heart, I want to let everyone know Brenton and I have gone our separate ways.
“Reg [her dog] and I loved our life in Darriman and have been missing the farm a lot.”
The 25-year-old then hinted at a not-so-rosy split, calling it “disappointing”.
“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values,” she added.
She finished off her post wishing Brenton “all the best” and thanking her loved ones for all of their support. And our hearts are breaking for these two!

According to Punkee, Brenton only had glowing things to say about Sophie when they reached out following her announcement.
“We are both still on good terms and Soph is an amazing person,” Brenton confessed. “I have no regrets at all about choosing Soph at the end!
“She was my frontrunner the whole way through the show, and we have made so many memories together.”
He concluded: “I wish Soph nothing but the very best.” Bless!
Sophie and Brenton had an instant connection on the show and it was clear from their very first interaction that they’d be together when the cameras stopped rolling.
This year, in a FWAW first, all of the farmers found love. However, Sophie and Brenton have sadly been the first to call it quits.
We hope there aren’t any more break-ups because we don’t know if we can handle any more heartbreak!
