Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023’s Farmer Brenton and Sophie Holcombe have debuted their relationship on Instagram and we love this for them!
On May 30, the sheep and cattle farmer posted his first Instagram video since the show’s romance-filled Finale, speaking fondly about his time on FWAW.
“Hey guys, it’s Brenton here, I’ve just got social media back and I want to jump on and thank everyone for the support over the past few months,” he said.
“It was the best experience I could ever think of. It was 100 times better than I thought it could be going into it.
“I’m so glad I got to meet Soph; now we can settle into our life and go out in public.”
The 26-year-old added that he was “so lucky” to have met the other farmers, and he “couldn’t have thought of a better bunch to do it with.” Aww.
Before signing off, he thanked FWAW ‘s host Samantha Armytage “for being so genuine and the best host you could ever think of.”
The journalist took to the comments section to thank Brenton for his kind words.
“Thanks Brenton …what lovely words,” she wrote.
“It was fantastic to meet you & I wish you & Soph many happy years ahead.
“Catch up soon. Sam x.”
Sophie shares a heartfelt post about her relationship with Brenton
Shortly after, the social media manager uploaded her own heartfelt post to Instagram.
“I always loved watching @farmeraustralia but I never thought that one day I’d be on it,” she wrote alongside a series of snaps of her time on the show.
“Meeting Brenton and going through this experience has been one of the best things I’ve done.
The 25-year-old also showed her love for the “strong and beautiful women” she met on the show.
“I was lucky to be joined by some strong and beautiful women who put their heart on the line and supported me as I did the same.
“To hold respect for each other in such strange circumstances shows how special they all are,” she added.
Sophie finished her post by admitting that she was relieved that she no longer had to keep her relationship a secret.
“I’ve lived in Darriman for over 5 months now. Having that secret out of the bag has been a huge relief.
“I cannot wait to continue enjoying life on the farm and be able to finally share what that looks like,” she added.
Aww, we love this couple and we’re happy they’re still going strong!
