What is Netflix’s Love is Blind ?
The Emmy nominated reality show is a unique dating experiment with a heavy focus on meeting a potential partner based on personality alone.
The single participants can only communicate with each other through a wall in individual pods where they cannot physically see one another.
Only after an emotional connection has been made, then the potential love interests can meet in person after accepting a proposal — and then will they will find out if there is a physical attraction as well.
Once engaged and back in the real world, the new couple will be put to the test and find out if their connection is strong enough emotionally and physically to continue on and ultimately marry one another.
Are There Any Success Stories To Come Out Of Love Is Blind?
Like the odds of most reality dating experiments i.e. Married at First Sight, they’re not particularly high. However, there are still two couples from season one who are still together and happily married!
*SPOILER ALERT* if you haven’t seen season one!
These couples who proved love is in fact blind are Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton and Amber Pike and Matt Barnett. Naw how sweet, we love a success story!
Here’s hoping we will see some more adorable couples prove that Love is Blind from the season 2 cast!
