Married at First Sight Australia 2022 brides Tamara Djordjevic and Samantha Moitzi think they’ve figured out how producers decide which participants will be the show’s villains.
There’s no arguing that the duo got less than favourable edits during the latest instalment of MAFS and now the brides think they’ve cracked the code as to why.
During an Instagram Q&A on August 14, one of Samantha’s followers questioned the producers’ decision-making process “who to favour and who to make villains”.
“It’s just about sucking up their ass, isn’t it?” Tamara mused.
Meanwhile, Samantha said she “honestly thought” the entire cast was on an even playing field while filming.
“I honestly thought it was fair playing until I saw the edit,” she confessed to the camera before Tamara interjected: “And then it was like, ‘Whoa, that person is not like that but whatever.”
The claims come after the 2022 “villains” previously suggested that their co-stars — namely Brent Vitiello, Ella Ding and Domenica Calarco — were favoured by production and were further given better opportunities post-show.
Elsewhere in the Q&A, fans wondered whether the TV brides were affected by “reading those mean comments”.
Their answer: “Nah!”
“I feel like those people are just sadder than us,” Tamara said. “It’s like, who takes the time out to do that?”
Samantha then noted: “And they’re always saying how irrelevant we are, but they’re always commenting on our sh*t.”
The Queenslanders then said while there are more fans than trolls, “the haters are just really loud” and “aggressive”.
“Relax!”

Fans also submitted questions on Tamara‘s Instagram page, with one follower asking for “tips for going onto MAFS“.
Samantha’s suggestion? “Don’t.”
Her bestie backed this up, telling her 116,000 followers: “Absolutely don’t.
“If you enjoy your life… yeah, just don’t.”
