It’s no secret that Tamara Djordjevic received one of the more unfavourable edits of Married at First Sight Australia 2022, and according to her TV husband Brent Vitiello that was just how she had planned it to be!

In an interview with the HIT Network‘s Jimmy & Nath, the hospitality expert revealed that his former bride wanted to be painted as the season’s villain.

And, as reported in episode 180 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Tamara was desperate to get on the show to do so.

“She’s the one who said she couldn’t wait to be the baddie,” Brent divulged. “She wanted to be the villain on there and call people out.”

However, the fan favourite said his TV wife was “overthrown by females in there that were a lot stronger, a lot more level-headed and a lot more articulate with their words”. Welp, that’s a backhanded compliment if there ever was one!

Brent Reveals Why Tamara Wanted to Be the MAFS 2022 Villain

Being a reality TV villain can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, you get plenty of social media attention and inevitable a blue tick. On the other, you get torn to shreds by Twitter and, in some cases, even fired from your job!

Obviously, the pros outweighed the cons for Married at First Sight‘s Tamara because according to Brent, she “wanted to call people out”.

In fact, she was so keen on the clout that she “spent three years in a row applying for MAFS!”

As revealed in episode 180 of the pod, an A+ member of the Drama Army overheard some hot MAFS gossip at the hairdressers.

Reportedly, two women in the salon who seemed to know Tamara were joking that “she has always been desperate get on ” the show.

Ah, there’s nothing like the sweet stench of a blue tick coupled with a disingenuous bid for love!

Brent’s Comments Come After Married at First Sight‘s Tamara’s Media Smear Campaign Against Him

Brent’s comments came after Tamara appeared on the same show a week prior and claimed that the 33-year-old had taken on the experiment in search of a blue tick.

“This was his big break,” she remarked. “I think he just wants to be an influencer.”

Brent dismissed Tamara’s claims that he was only on MAFS “for a blue tick”. Source: Nine.

Brent scoffed at the claims, maintaining that he “had never told her anything about his dreams, goals or ambitions”.

“It’s just a burnt little girl… she is just making stuff up… It’s a joke, I was the one who was actually trying,” he said. “She has to make me the enemy because she hasn’t been received well and I have”.
