Big Brother Australia 2022‘s Aleisha Campbell had a HILARIOUS reaction to ex-boyfriend and Australian Survivor star Jordie Hansen getting engaged to Sam Frost.
The former Bachelorette, 33, confirmed the happy news on the couple’s new joint podcast Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip on July 7, revealing that Jordie proposed to her at the end of May during a trip to Uluru in the Northern Territory. It comes just five months after they began dating.
Now, in an interview with POPSUGAR, 24-year-old Aleisha said Sam will need “some headphones” to put up with her chatterbox fiancé.
“That boy, I mean, you thought I could talk?! That boy talks worse than I do!” she dished. “So if Sam’s got some headphones, then, great! She should use them!” LOL!
Adding that she’s “happy” for Jordie, Aleisha confessed that she and Jordie just weren’t a good match.
“If he’s happy, good on him. He wasn’t my person and I can tell you that right now!” she expressed of the 26-year-old, who she previously dated for “six or seven months”.
Despite the murky circumstances surrounding their initial union, the torch has continued to burn for Jordie and Sam’s blossoming romance.
At the start of her podcast, Sam told her listeners: “It is a very important time of our lives, we recently got engaged and to celebrate we thought we would go on a 14-day road trip.”
How Did Jordie Hansen Pop the Question To Sam Frost?
Jordie, 26, who also appeared on the podcast, went on to describe his proposal: “We were at Uluru and we had just had brekky and were about to head back down south.
“Sambo had just been delivered her coffee, and so I said, ‘Hey, when would you say yes to getting married?'”
Sam then chimed in saying: “I said, ‘Pretty much anytime from now.'”
Jordie continued: “And so I took that as, ‘I’m going to do it this afternoon.'”
The Survivor: Blood v Water star then told a hilarious story of how he tried to rush his soon-to-be fiancée so they could get to Coober Pedy before sunset for the big moment.
“[We got there and] I set up the camera in what I thought would be the perfect position, and Sambo’s come around and said, ‘I know exactly what you’re going to do here.'”
The former Home and Away star said she “had no clue” what was to come until she saw Jordie setting up a camera in the back of the car with “tears in his eyes.”
She added: “It was beautiful. He was really shaking and couldn’t sit down.”
Jordie then said he didn’t remember much about the proposal because he was “so nervous.”
He explained: “I was trying not to cry and just trying to speak. I remember saying something along the lines of, ‘Baby, we love jokes but this is not one of them. This is very serious.'”
How Long Have Sam Frost and Jordie Hansen Been Dating?
Sam first sparked engagement rumours last month when a photo of her with a ring on her wedding finger at a friend’s hen’s party circulated on social media.
It comes after Sam moved back to Melbourne to live with Jordie last month.
Just two months after getting together, the two-time Bachie babe revealed to the Herald Sun that she’s relocated back to Melbourne and moved in with Jordie.
“We’ve taken the next step and it’s nice,” Sam said. “I feel so happy and being able to travel again is great.”
The pair, who became Instagram official back in April, have been lapping up the love as they travel around Australia.

Sam and Jordie met through her younger brother, Alex Frost, who starred alongside Jordie on Survivor – as did her now ex-boyfriend Jay Bruno.
The Survivor and Bachelorette stars hard-launched their relationship on Instagram just one week after confirming they were together.
She debuted their relationship on Instagram back in April when the pair went on a trip down the New South Wales coast.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the pair…
After going public with their romance, Sam was accused of being a “homewrecker” after sources told So Dramatic! that the couple had begun dating when Jordie was still in a relationship.
Thanks to a tip-off from a So Dramatic! spy, Jordie’s girlfriend was even in the process of moving in with him in Melbourne “when they started seeing each other”.
In an exclusive interview in episode 176 of the So Dramatic! podcast Jordie’s ex-girlfriend, Ash confirmed that her “high school sweetheart” started dating Sam only two days after he broke up with her.
Following the interview, Sam slammed claims that she was to blame for their split.
