Former Bachelorette Sam Frost has penned a heartfelt tribute to her younger brother Alex after he chose to leave Australian Survivor: Blood V Water on Monday night.

After losing the latest immunity challenge, Alex’s tribe, Water, was sent packing for tribal council. However, while Khan Hong and Sophie Cachia were on the chopping block, the young contestant made a jaw-dropping request.

“Going into tonight, I had a pretty big decision on my mind,” he said. “I want to be voted out. I want you guys to collectively vote me out.”

The shocking plea came as Alex continued to struggle with a back injury endured during an earlier episode in the series.

Despite revealing how “mentally and physically” exhausting the pain was, his tribemates refused to vote him out.

As a result, the young gun was forced to quit the show.

Alex entered the Survivor game alongside “in-law” Jay Bruno, who formerly dated Sam for a short time in 2021.

What Did Sam Frost Say About Her Brother Alex’s Time On Australian Survivor?

Taking to Instagram following Monday’s episode, Alex’s sister Sam confessed how proud she was of his efforts.

“Despite never smiling in photos… you are hands down the biggest legend with the softest and kindest soul,” she penned. “The world’s number one [Survivor] super fan finally got a chance to play.. only to get injured day one… But you still gave it your all.”

Noting that he played with “authenticity, integrity and heart”, Sam added: “I’m incredibly proud of you.”

The two-time Bachelor franchise star also mused that Alex may get a “chance at redemption”, should he get his body in “tip-top shape”.

“You’re a superstar in my eyes. Love you so much bro,” she concluded. “Thank you to the Water team for taking him under your wings.”
