The mother of controversial Married at First Sight Australia 2022 bride Olivia Frazer has reportedly been forced into hiding after the public’s backlash against her daughter extended to her.
Olivia has received criticism en masse for her purported “mean girl” antics on the show. This includes an incident where she allegedly participated in image-based abuse against fellow bride Domenica Calarco.
Now, as reported in episode 177 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Sandy Frazer has taken a leaf out of Andrew Davis‘ book and is living under an alias.
One source tells So Dramatic!: “[Olivia’s mum] has had to change her name on Facebook because of all the flack from her daughter. She hasn’t changed the URL tho.”
Mama Frazer is now going by Lizzie — and a last name that is NOT Frazer.
Why Is Olivia Frazer Copping So Much Hate?
It’s been weeks since Married at First Sight Australia 2022 ended, however, Olivia (and unfortunately, her loved ones) are still being mercilessly trolled online.
And while no one ever deserves to be cyber bullied — especially to the point where their own mother is going into hiding — here is why Olivia is being dubbed the biggest MAFS villain of all time.
Firstly, her Commitment Ceremony clash with fellow bride Holly Greenstein early in the season echoed an all too familiar tone of victim-blaming.
Then, there was her proud sharing of her now-infamous bridesmaid dress story.
After that, the glass-smashing incident saw Olivia make classist remarks toward Domenica. As well as calling her rival “white trash,” she lied and pushed the narrative that Domenica “fashioned the glass like a weapon” in her face.
Following that, she sought out and shared photos from her nemesis’ OnlyFans account with the rest of the participants. She also reportedly shared them with people outside of the cast. Police are currently investigating the situation.
The controversy did not stop with the revelation that Olivia had shared the images around. Olivia continued to slut shame Domenica.
One of the more odd moments that ticked off MAFS viewers was when Olivia chucked a tantrum because her husband Jackson likes going to the gym. Wut?
