Married at First Sight Australia 2022’s Dion Giannarelli certainly got the raw end of the stick when he was paired with Carolina Santos, however, it looks like his luck is about to change.
Last week, fans were calling for Dion to be the next Bachelor following his popular stint on the show and now, he’s been pipped for another Channel 9 series.
As reported in episode 163 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source revealed that our Gucci-loving groom is already booked to appear on Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2023.
And we are keen as (Dijon) mustard for this to happen!
This comes as no surprise as Dion has been promoted more than any other groom on Married at First Sight, including having his own A Current Affair segment after his TV wife Carolina Santos‘ affair with Daniel Holmes was exposed.
We guess it pays to be friends with Channel 9’s Karl Stefanovic and the step-son of Real Housewives of Melbourne star, Gina Liano — hey, Dion?!]
Dion will join the likes of former MAFS stars Martha Kalifatidis and Beck Zemeck, who have both appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.
What Did Married at First Sight’s Dion Say on A Current Affair?
Unlike his other co-stars, Dion was lucky enough to speak his truth on A Current Affair after the train-wreck that was his marriage to “I love the gym”, Carolina.
“Someone else could have had your opportunity,” Dion told his former wife — who is now coupled up IRL with Daniel Holmes.
“To sit by me, to get married to me, to get everything that I offer as a person,” he added. You go, Glenn Coco!
In his ACA interview, Dion admitted that Carolina was “just not my kind of person”.
“Carolina made a big deal of cheating and how that has hurt her in the past from her previous relationship and when someone talks to you about that sort of thing, you’d never think they’d do exactly that to you,” he said.
“It’s never easy to watch back, especially the snide comments and things that were said,” he said.
“But at the end of the day, I know who I am as a person and I’m happy in my own skin.”
