Pop on your hard hats, because The Block is back for 2025, and we have all the tea about the dramatic new season.
Hosted by Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, the upcoming season of the hit renovation show will feature a HUGE twist: The teams will each be building a house FROM SCRATCH! And of course, this will come with a bucketload of chaos!

Where is The Block 2025 taking place?
The upcoming season of The Block will take place in Victoria’s Daylesford.
The contestants will be tasked with building five homes on a block of land along Raglan Street.
These new builds will form part of a brand-new neighbourhood within Hygge Property’s Middleton Field estate, located in eastern Daylesford.
This comes after plans to film in Daylesford in 2024 were cancelled due to disgruntled locals and permit issues.
Who are the judges?
Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox will return to the judging panel and put the new Blockheads through their paces!
Foreman Keith will likely sit this season out again due to the travel distance and his recent hip surgery.
Foreman Dan will return to the site, despite facing a heartbreaking year. He and his partner, Dani Wales, tragically lost their newborn daughter, Billie, in late 2024, but the couple, along with their dogs, Hazel and Olive, relocated to Daylesford for filming.

Channel Nine dropped a spicy trailer giving fans a peek at what to expect on the upcoming season of the hit renovation show, and you can watch it here:
The Block 2025 is full of twists and turns
As we mentioned earlier, the Blockheads will be building their own houses from scratch in a series-first twist.
The houses, designed by the show’s architect, Julian Brenchley, will all be the same size and layout, ensuring everyone is on an even playing field. We can’t wait to see how this plays out.
But wait, there’s more…
In another twist, the teams will not be allowed to work on their homes throughout the night, and the building sites will be locked; as a result, the teams will be under considerable pressure this year. Yikes.
When does The Block 2025 start?
The Block 2025 will hit our screens on Sunday, July 27 at 7 pm on Channel Nine and 9Now!
