Whilst the 2024 season is yet to hit our screens, the filming location for The Block 2025 has already been confirmed.
This year, the hit renovation show will take place in Phillip Island, a popular holiday spot two and a half hours out of Melbourne, after the original plans to film in Daylesford were scrapped.
However, on July 11, executive producer Julian Cress confirmed that the Daylesford plans had been revived for the 2025 season.

“After a lot of wrangling back and forth, the plans we submitted to the council in Daylesford were finally approved a couple of months ago. So we’ve decided we’re going to go there,” he told TV Tonight.
He then confirmed the show would be filmed on Raglan Street, around 90 minutes north-west of Melbourne.
“We’re going to do the show we wanted to do [last] year. We’re really excited about it because off the back of this ‘sea change’ series we’re doing in Phillip Island, Daylesford is just a beautiful country town.”
Julian then claimed that lots of viewers would “resonate” with the “stunning” 2025 filming location because it’s the “number one weekend destination in Australia”.
This comes after the 2024 plans to film in Daylesford were canned due to disgruntled locals and permit issues.
