The Block 2024 cast has been revealed in a series of leaked snaps as the 20th season kicks off filming.
ICYMI: The latest season of the hit renovation show is setting up shop in Victoria’s Phillip Island for the very first time and as per The Blockinator Blog, contestants have been arriving since late February.
“THE CONTESTANTS HAVE ARRIVED!” the fan page penned on Instagram.
“These guys were spotted filming around the site and at Cowes Mitre 10.”
The blog shared a series of snaps of the cast, noting that it “looks like a full set of newbies”, contrary to reports past stars would return.
Another post showed the fresh-faced cast posing for promo pics in their team colours at the National Vietnam Veterans Museum on Phillip Island.
Fans react to new photos of The Block 2024 cast
Fans took to the comment section to express their hope that The Block 2024 cast will bring less drama than in previous years.
“I hope we see building and not drama,” one user wrote, while another said: “There better be some class this year, none of that bloody drama like from last year.”
Others shared their disappointment that the cast appears to be chock-full of young contestants.
“Same demographic as last year… #boring,” a fan penned.
“No one over 40 so sad,” another wrote.
A third expressed: “Same old, same old!! The supposed beautiful people again who have no idea and just want to be on TV!!! Disappointed.”
Insight into the cast comes after it was revealed The Block 2023 winners Steph and Gian Ottavio will return to the show this year. However, they will be involved in the distribution of Block Bucks rather than competing.
