Fans have speculated that Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Melinda Willis and Layton Mills are back together after the pair were spotted FaceTiming each other.
Despite being the ultimate power couple during the marriage experiment, the duo sadly parted ways in October 2023. However, at the time, they stated that their breakup “[didn’t] mean their lives [couldn’t] come back together”.
And it looks like things may have worked out for them!
Melinda recently posted an Instagram Story whilst FaceTiming Layton, revealing she was staying at Skye Suites, where they filmed MAFS.
“Back to where it all began at Skye Suites,” she said. “Found out the room I’m staying in was Tahnee [Cook]‘s and Ollie [Skelton]‘s. They look so different when they’re not set up for filming.”
She captioned the Story: “I took hubby on a trip down memory lane tonight.”
It comes after Melinda revealed she was no longer in contact with the biotech CEO during an Instagram Q&A in June before spilling that she’d be open to rekindling things with him.
“You don’t know what could happen in the future, and some days, I’ll catch myself thinking about Layton or thinking about if time will change anything,” Melinda gushed.

When approached for comment, Layton (sadly) confirmed he was just friends with Melinda, even though they were “speaking again”.
“We’ve spoken a few times in the last few months,” he told So Dramatic!. “I still care about Mel. We went through a pretty wild experience together, so it’d be good to end up in a place where we can be friends!”
Melinda also addressed the speculation, telling So Dramatic! they are just friends and “trying to be amicable”.
