Love Island Games‘ Tina Provis reveals she practised “social distancing” from her ex Mitch Hibberd and we’re so relieved!
ICYMI: After winning Love Island Australia 2021, the pair broke up in February 2022 after Mitch allegedly cheated on Tina with Bombshell Emily Ward. The couple later rekindled the flame during Love Island 2022 before splitting again in December that same year.
Luckily, the pair decided to break the cycle because Tina told The Messenger that they’d practised “social distancing” when they both appeared on Love Island Games.
“I really hoped this time, [Mitch] wouldn’t be there because [I wanted to] have an experience that didn’t involve each other,” she dished. “I watch our walk-in and we’re all smiling, but I’m thinking, ‘What the f*ck?'”
She added: “The little voice in my head was like, ‘He’s probably going to be here,’ but it would have been nice to have a journey without him there.”
The 27-year-old also revealed that this was the “first time” she’d seen her on-again-off-again bae since they broke up in 2022.
However, instead of adding to our Titch fatigue and giving it another go (please no), Tina joked that the situation between the duo could be better described as “social distancing”.

Once entering the villa, Mitch started to connect with USA’s Zeta Morrison and Courtney Boerner.
However, things ended quickly for Tina, who was dumped after one episode alongside Jessica Losurdo.
“I think the one thing that was great about my journey… is it gave me closure on that whole experience,” she said. “By the time I saw [Mitch] in there, I just felt nothing anymore.”
“We’ve given it enough goes. I’ve given all I have to give and there’s just nothing left there. This time, I knew for good that I was done and I wasn’t just telling myself lies. I felt nothing at all. That was the biggest win for me.” YAAS queen!
Tina also revealed which eliminated contestants she would have gotten to know.
“I’ve watched Love Island UK, and I thought Curtis [Pritchard] would have been really cool to meet up with,” she spilled.
“I thought Toby [Aromolaran] was also good. I thought Carrington [Rodriguez] would have been fun for me. But just the way it played out, not the cards in my favour.”
Better luck next time, sis! Because at this rate, there will be a lot more next times. But hopefully, sans Mitch…
