Another plot twist in the Tina Provis/Mitch Hibberd/Emily Ward Love Island Australia love triangle has been revealed and WTAF? This truly is the saga that never dies.
To quickly recap: after winning the show in 2021, Tina and Mitch broke up in February 2022, just days before the footballer and Emily hooked up. Naturally, Tina was P*SSED, confirming on TikTok that the duo had engaged in some post-show coitus.
The drama has since been dredged up on national telly after Tina and Mitch returned to the show during “Ex Week” and aired their dirty laundry for the whole of Australia to see. Thank you, producers!
Emily has now broken her silence on the hookup after one fan asked whether Mitch was telling the truth during the “Truth Bike” challenge about the pair only getting down and dirty.
“It was only once so he wasn’t lying,” she responded to the TikTok comment. “They [Mitch and Tina] weren’t together but her feelings are also completely valid.
However, as reported in episode 237 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source close to Emily told host Megan Pustetto that there’s more to the love triangle than everyone is letting on.
“When she hooked up with Mitch and a few of the other Love Island guys, she was doing nothing wrong because she was single,” they explained.
And the real kicker: “She also got permission from Tina [to hook up with Mitch]. She legit made sure everything was okay before anything happened.
“But then Tina made out like she was shocked.” YIKES.
The source added that Emily copped “a lot of harassment and slut shaming” after news of her and Mitch’s tryst got out.

Adding more fuel to the fire, the insider told So Dramatic! that Emily wasn’t as keen on Mitch after he chose Tina over her in the villa.
“A lot of people have said that Emily was the reason for Mitch and Tina breaking up. However, since the show, Emily went completely off Mitch,” they divulged.
According to the source, “Emily also said that the producers told her to pick Mitch to cause drama” when she first arrived on the show. And yep, that sounds about right!
But TBH, if they REALLY wanted to stir the pot, they would’ve invited Emily back for Ex Week, too. Just sayin’!
